Shave of the Day Thread - 2018

I cannot wait for my 32mm Sabini M&F Polo to land, these days I am even finding the 26mm a bit on the lean side!

I don't hate small brushes at all, I just find them a complete pain in the neck to load as I enjoy using a very rich and voluminous lather. Aside from the luxury and enjoyment of this method I also do this in a obviously futile and vain attempt to deplete my idiotically large soap collection.
Soap makers should put less soap in their tubs so we can use it faster :ROFLMAO:

Pre-shave: Shower
Razor: Rockwell 6S (3,3,2)
Blade: Personna Lab Blue (1)
Brush: Wolf Whiskers Black Wolf
Soap/Cream: APR Coolabah
Post-Shave: APR Coolabah Splash, TSW After Balm

A superb mentholated shave on another hot Adelaide night.
No need to go easy on the Coolabah now with a February re-release announced :)

First day of another new job, hopefully this boss won’t insist I disregard legislation..
Razor:fatboy (3)
Blade: feather (2)
Soap: 42
Splash: 42
Frag: 42

Razor: Vintage Eclipse 'Red Ring'
Blade: Vintage Wilkinson Sword Premium Chromium blade (2)
Brush: Vintage Butterscotch Simpson 'The Duke' shaving brush
Soap/Cream: Australian Private Reserve (APR) Lixivant Shave Soap
Aftershave: Australian Private Reserve (APR) Lixivant Aftershave
Cologne: Australian Private Reserve (APR) Lixivant EDP

Another small brush experience, back to the butterscotch! This was a bit of a trial to see how it goes. I can see @todras's point about being a pain to load, it is certainly a different technique to a larger brush and I'm much more aware of that now.

The Lixivant was lovely and a great shave overall!

Hope that new job goes well @Ferret619 (y)

Fine European American line up today.
Soap: Meißner Tremonia - Moroccan Rhassoul
Brush: Omega Italian Boar
Scuttle: Bronze Warrior
Razor: Jowika
Post: Jojoba Oil
AS: Pb TnT
Love this soap. @lerenau Lathers easily into voluminous foamy lather but on the face it's thick and creamy and shaves beautifully. The scent is Cloves and Copaiba but I keep thinking Basil but woodier and darker (my wife said cloves straight away). The scent is at a very pleasant volume in the tub and lathered. Lather provided very nice cushion and glide, I was very happy to go back for multiple passes.:)
