... you NEED at least a seven day rotation so they can completely dry out.

Hmm... now the question is, do you need to let a brush fully dry out? Is there an advantage? I can understand doing so for storage, but would there be other reasons?

All mine stand on their handle and I don’t have a problem drying them that way but what I tend to do post shave is clean and dry the lathering bowl, rinse and shake out the brush and stand the brush on it’s bristles into the scuttle. Next day it gets stood up on handle again unless it’s reused. They get cycled so they spend the majority of time on their handles. One day I might make a multi brush hanging stand. At the moment they look like something out of a Disney cartoon. Someone decided to line them up from Papa bear to baby bear (boar, sorry horse/badger). Hmm, better take a couple down otherwise Mama Bear (non Disney) will be thinking I've got too many brushes.

Both. I hang those that fit the "C" clamps i have on the edge of a shelf for drying purposes, bigger handled brushes like PantaRei that don't fit, stand on end to dry on the same shelf....... all in the bathroom environment.

I just rinse and shake mine out and leave them sitting on the handle.

Seems to be no problem sitting them knot up then.For the time being I will be storing my new 1305 knot up.Thanks for the responses,interesting to see the differences.
