and a sample of Ace After Shave. I am liking the smell of all of them. I was concerned over the tobacco scent of Group Captains Blend but it is quite likeable and not strong at all. Can't wait to give one of them a whirl tomorrow morning. My feeling is it will be Group Captains Blend. Thanks @SchoolForAnts

Thanks @SchoolForAnts, @todras, @Sxot and in anticipation of his return @Anthony for producing such great Aussie products I really have no need to shop overseas at all!

(Thanks too @shavetheman for importing the stuff I might be tempted to get from overseas like the @Barrister & Mann range and to Juan at @Gifts&Care.com for his wonderful service too)

Oh dear, we really are spoilt at the moment aren't we!

Could you please measure the loft on that cashmere brush?

I was told it's 60mm by the seller so I didn't go for it but am curious as to what you've actually received.

For me not floppy at all, but I'm someone that doesn't find the omega professional really floppy anyway, cause I only invigorate and lightly paint when I lather. It's an absolutely gorgeously soft knot mate, not as dense as a BOSS, gamechanger or TF Custom Synthetic but softer than all of the above

Drat... I placed my order almost a week ago. But, it hasn't even been sent yet (according to eBay).
 


A busy day Friday but was chuffed when I popped my head into a vintage store and found a Pal Injectormatic and a mini novelty shave mug for $35. Later at the shops I decided to take the plunge with all the positive reaction to Nivea's new two tone AS.

The razor was covered in crud but, as we know, one cycle in the dishwasher and it's almost new again.
 
Arrived on Friday: The bulk materials I needed to make the production run of De Laire's "Mousse de Saxe" in time for AP Reserves September 1st spring Fragrances :)

Coeur de Vert: A Fougère with a very raunchy difference.
Turkish Oakmoss, French Hay Absolute, Grass, Clover, Rose, Violet absolute, Lavender, Basil, Magnolia and the famous Mousse de Saxe base that I have recreated after many months of research, trial and error to get it just perfect.

The dry down on this one is bloody outrageous..on application the mood of a classic, spring Fougère then the Mousse de Saxe which just soars beautifully and endures for hours. Really excited about this design and the way it is received!
