I like the old look, so I'm trying to make it look clean and sharp without buffing the character out to mirror chrome.
Only thing I've done recently is fill the stamped hole with epoxy and drill a 1/16th hole in it. It had a huge amount of sloppy play in it before. This should be a good fit.
Waiting for my brass pinning rod and washers to come next week so I can put it back together.
it frustrates many people that haven't seen the stamped holes before. The other two methods i've seen is the brass tube glued in method, and the hollow rivet installed and the ends ground back. The method you have used is the most simple, and eliminates the reaction between the pin and the blade.
