Really nice cold water shave this morning with the rocky and plate 3. Went for comfort with great success. The soap continues to provide great lather, so again it will come with me interstate for a long weekend.

first trip out for the Tabac...wow, seriously impressed.
All in all, quite possibly the best shave I've had...so far.​

The jury is still out with the Nacet blades. On my dial just not as smooth as the Astra green or Feather blades.

Crazy weather here with storms, hail and rain - so a great excuse to use one more time this season a soap scented for cooler days. The resulting APR lather was simply stunning (sorry for the lack of evidence) and the shave itself was just perfect.

Little fresh here in the PRC this morning. 8 degrees feels like 2.3 and very windy is the BOM description (this is late November!!!) so I needed something warming...

Thought i would see if my feather went another round and put it in plate 6 of the rockwell. First time ive gone to 6 and with an old feather.. maaaaaaaate.. put the E in Efficiency for me, the blade itself was on use 4 or maybe 5 (cant remember) but man did it shave close, only issue was i think it was past its last use and slightly rough.. i think i found my new combo.. looking forward to getting into mondays 2 day growth with a new feather on plate 6.... and yeah the Tabac is a great performer

I've still got two jars in the fridge of the shaving cream that I used to make before @bald as felt sorry for me and pushed me off down the road to making real shaving soap. Not sure I'll ever get through it but it gave an OK shave today. It's appropriate use maybe as emergency use in the instance of shavepocolypse shortage of shaving soap or as bin liner but I can't bring myself to waste the ingredients, though I wouldn't hesitate if it didn't shave OK.
