WTG, ATG with touch ups and adjusted angles for my beard.
As you would expect from Squadron soap, lathers up nicely for a smooth comfortable shave. The matching splash adds that nice finishing touch.

First shave with the newly acquired Mergress XL. A very handsome razor, and feels great in the hand. I normally shave with my Futur set on 2, but have been enjoying slightly more aggressive shaves of late, so dialed it up to 2.5. It might seem strange to some that I loaded the Mergress with a blade on its 8th outing, but anyone who has shaved with a P74 will know that this makes perfect sense.
The Wholly Kaw lather was predictably excellent; three comfortable passes and I was smoother than James Bond at a cocktail bar.
Finished with the fresh pine-dominant fougère scent of Knize Forest. Tricky to get this right, but the Austrians have done a marvelous job.

Nothing Karve’s through a few days growth better than an open comb Karve plate, with a new Nacet blade. A few weepers but purely due to my inexperience with open combs in general.

Another top quality lather from M&M along with some Passione splash. Not pictured is some Versace pour homme added before I left the house. Seems to pair nicely with the passione.

Concentrated on angles today and lent towards more cap riding, was rewarded with a much smoother shave with the feathers while retaining the sharpness. happy days

Was surprised by the quality finish of the Piccolo's metallic black and gold. Very refined and stylish. Need to renovate the bathroom to match now :)
A bit of irritation on the lower neck from the OC so decided to ride the combs instead of the cap and received a much smoother almost irritation free and very efficient single pass.
The Piccolo OC and JAWS are very close although I have not used the same blades for comparison. The Piccolo combs are smoother with no sharp edges and easier to manoeuvre due to its size

The Astra Blues continue to impress. I found they have an ideal balance of being sharp whilst giving a comfortable shave.
