A warm one today in the nation's capital. Perfect conditions for the Coolabah soap and splash set.

Really impressed with the Piccolo OC / Astra SP the shaves just keep getting better. BBS single pass with no irritation riding the comb and blade instead of cap which was a bit aggressive
The Body Shop - Maca Root & Aloe whipped up a storm.
Lather shot with leftovers after shaving.

When I moved house for Mum there was an old pot that she said 'No, I'm not taking it', so I did. I think it was worth it. The Hippeastrums went crazy this year. I sent her a photo and she asked what I'd done to get them growing so well. I advised neglect and a bit of water ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Achieved a personal best this morning in regards to blade use, first time I have used a blade more than 5 times without ditching. Shave was still comfortable and smooth with excellent results, interesting to see how far this blade goes.

DFS this morning with this razor / blade combo. I forget what a fine instrument the Progress is and how you can nicely dial it in to suit your "shave mood".

Razor/Blade:- Karve CB SS 'D' / Wizamet Polsilver Brown Stainless #3
Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Natural Glycerin (20), Tea Tree Antiseptic (10), Lavender (15) & Peppermint (10 drops)
Fragrance:- Tommy Hilfiger for Men

After a good innings the blade became a bit "scritchy" on day 6.
Didn't give the mentholated cactus (Maca Root & Aloe) enough credit first time around. This stuff lathers up a storm and when combined with the pre-shave gel its as smooth and slick as can be.
The razor just glides. The silky smooth slickness that allows for a single pass and touch ups without applying more soap if you are so inclined
Moving on to the Piccolo's Gentle Closed Comb next. Keeping with Astra SP and ordered a hundred from B&B for the stockpile :)
