I love this handle, you'd think that it would slip easily, but it really doesn't and is so easy to twist around to get to use both sides of the razor. However, I do not find this particular baseplate to be very efficient. I often have to have a couple of passes to get all of the stubble. The end result is the same though.​

No complaints about the Seville lather, but I would agree @tim33z , the Reserve base is superior and gives a richer lather.

No complaints about the Seville lather, but I would agree @tim33z , the Reserve base is superior and gives a richer lather.

Seville is still perfectly acceptable, as many here have tried it no doubt. Tomorrow i will use a Yaqi brush which is stiffer than the plissoft knot. Perhaps this will get me loaded with more soap. Your lather shot looks really nice!

Not the biggest fan of Cedarwood as it somewhat overpowers the scent of the soap. Not as bad in the splash. Bombora on the other hand smells nice with from the misses. Crystal blade shaved well with both DE's - smoother in the R4 but only slightly. So glad to be back bowl lathering as the slickness and cushioning beats face lathering for me... Happy shaves amigos!
