@@Holiday - First outing with the Rockwell 6C, with a new feather blade using base plate 4. Verdict - 'Efficient'.....much more than I was expecting quite frankly. This was one of the closest shaves I've had in a long time; two passes for a DFS+. Based on the various internet reviews and comments I was expecting plate 4 to be too mild for someone accustomed to shaving with a slant, but that's not turned out to be the case. Still early days of course. Will probably have a couple more shaves with #4 before shifting up (or down).
Two easy passes with the R5 plate and the stubble just went away without any questions.
Then.
Got to the train station and my wallet was left at home. Drive back home to get it and by then, the traffic is worse still! Free car parking all gone. Have to pay a corporate company $3 to park on shitty gravel. Guess I’m having an instant coffee today at work!
Rant over.
