The newest addition to my rotation, fresh out of my project box. I'd never shaved with a Blue Tip before, it was quite pleasant.

Pre-shave: Warm Water
Brush: - Forgotton Art - Bushman 26mm tuxedo
Soap/Cream: Tallow & Steel - Boreal

Blade: Gillette Stainless (29)
Post-shave: Tallow & Steel AS Toner / Zingari Man - AS balm unscented

2 pass WTG, XTG = DFS+. Shave 29, and a pure bliss of a shave. Sorry @SpeedyPC, I can tell you now that by the time this sotd is posted, Shave 31 has already been finished and was a success. Blade doesn't want to die.:)

The soap Tallow & Steel - Boreal. Scent strength strong off the puck and medium for the splash. I had a sample of this soap a few years ago and enjoyed it, decided to invest in a few Tallow & Steel soap and splashes.
Scent notes, Canadian Cedarwood, Cedar Leaf, Birch , Balsam Fir, White Spruce, Black Spruce, Monarda. The soap is a very dark green, woodsy fouguere. To me scent is like a cross between Stirling Conferious, and B&M Fougere Gothic, even darker. It's dark, it's green, it's wet, its earthy, its Boreal.

Opening scent off the puck starts with a mix of the spruces, cedarwood, cedar leaf, birch and fir all mashed together, its one big green sensory bombardment, with a light minty sweetness attained from the Monardo. Once lathered the scent does lighten up and the individual scents start to become more identifiable. I believe T&S have used either two different Monardo plant essential oils in the soap and splash or have a higher concentration of monardo citriodora in the splash. The soap has a light minty sweetness, and the splash has a a really strong intial lemon citrus burst from the monardo which changes the whole dynamics of the scent from dark to light, then rounded out to a middle ground fouguere scent with hints of fir, spruce, cedarwood lingering. Think of walking in a dark forest, lost for direction, then out of knowhere, 100000 lumens of flashlight blinds you in the face. ( descriptive analogy I know:)), it is that different.

The soap and splash performance are outstanding, with all natural ingredients. The toner says no alcohol and can be imported without restriction, on the label
it clearly states alcohol in the ingredient list !

This is a really cool dark green woody scent and very different to others I have I tried. The unique dark fougere factor alone is a reason its a keeper for me. (y)

What is that razor you are using ???

Looks rather crude and lacking in style and sophistication for you mate.

Brush: Forgotten Art "Tarkine" 26mm Tuxedo
Soap: Noble Otter Hamami
Post: Shower, Nivea Balm

The sunburn I scored on Saturday has faded now, thanks to liberal and frequent splashing with TND Witch Hazel, so today's shave was a bit easier on the skin than it was yesterday. Even so, I settled for a 2-pass DFS+ to be on the safe side. My Hamami has been getting a bit of a workout lately with the warmer weather, and I fear it will not last the summer. The scent is a bit polarising, which I assume is why Beard&Blade don't bother getting it in, but I love it. Mrs Gargravarr will be happy to see it gone, since she hates the smell, so to keep the peace I won't replace it when it's finished.
