My estimation wasn't too far out the other day @Holiday . I was surprised at how similar the shave provided by the Piccolo was to the Lambda Ares.
Thanks @Pbgoose would it be fair to say the Wolfman of Bronze OC razors?

I can feel why everybody is raving about BlueDevil Soaps.
Feels like my dolphin smooth skin has been waxed and polished

I hadn't noticed CraigE was making a Bay soap now. Sounds nice :)
Not a true Bay Rum by @CraigE own admission and not advertised but noticed it in the drop down list on eBay. I think it's a work in progress: pimento racemosa, orange essential and clove
Very happy with the soaps performance and a nice base for Bay Rum aftershave.

Pre-shave: Hot water, Pears soap
Brush: Forgotten Art "Southern Skies" 30mm Snow Leopard
Soap/Cream: Castle Forbes Lavender
Razor: Blackland Vector
Blade: Kai PINK
Post-shave: Shower, Homebrew moisturiser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF50+

Enjoying the last of this soap while I still can. It's a real premium product, expensive but worth every cent. (Easily available at Vshod.) Nice to me able to take my time over this, a slow 4 passes when I could have got by with 2½, so perfect DSBBS.

Remember I had issues with the Start not being efficient enough?
No such issues with the Colibri :).
If I were about to fall back into the world of DE razors (which would be a headslap given that I've given away almost all my DE blades ), the Colibri looks like it stands head and shoulders above any others I might consider. Simple and elegant to look at, and if the performance is as you describe, it's a winner. The only other one that has caught my eye is the Tatara Masamune which is drop-dead gorgeous to look at, but reviews suggest it's too mild for my taste...

Not so much a work in progress as such, more a tabled scent that may or may not be revisited. I was a little misinformed of the scent profile when I put it together. I can't even tell you how much of what scent I used anymore.
