"A&E Greek Coffee" - says Turkish Coffee on the label, or shouldn't I got there?

Love my coffee, but not as an aftershave, same with fruits. Mind you I like leather and tobacco scents (but they don't smell like cigarette smoke)

Viva la difference!

Pre-shave: Hot water, Pears soap

Soap/Cream: Noble Otter - Two Kings
Razor: Blackland Vector

Post-shave: Alum, Shower, Homebrew moisturiser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF50+.

This soap is now in a very attenuated doughnut of death, and the merciful thing to do is to finish it off as quickly as possible. So that's what I'm going to be doing over the next few days...

false advertising on the package :) and I dont like foul language

to be fair though.. it really should be called 'yemen' cafe.. as this is where it originated and 'discovered' by the Turks who brought it to Greece in 1425 via the Ottoman Empire

funnily enough I wouldn't describe it as a strong cafe scent, it has a subtle cafe scent mixed in with cardamon and hazlenut, its an amazing scent

I too dislike cigarette smoke (who doesnt) and with a lot of hesitance got squadrons group captain's blend and Puros from razorock. These scents are among my favorites, you never know, you may also love A&E Yemen cafe :)

Is there any other soap with the proper scent of coffee? Found a few on google but they’re long discontinued or the makers are no longer operating.

Here's a thought, if you have an unscented soap (I don't), you could try replacing the water in your lather with a strong black coffee. I've no idea whether this would work, but it might be an interesting experiment.

Worth a shot (pun intended), though I only shave at night so not sure how the tea-only missus would take to the smell of an espresso in the bathroom :ROFLMAO:

With all the new toys to play with I am going to try a different one each day with same blade. This week it's vintage Gillette Red & White Super Stainless

First impression were it's a good stubble buster, very smooth and easy long strokes (no buffing required). One of those shaves where immediately post shave the little bit of remaining stubble feels like fiberglass.
I've had this feeling before and it seems to disappear by the time aftershave applied and dressed for work. Maybe from the open pores?
Thought I was going to struggle to achieve DFS due to post shave feel but the final result was a very nice smooth shave 2 Pass WTG = DFS and I only missed BBS on one spot where jaw meets ear.
Minimal regrowth by lunch and even now 15Hrs later not feeling like sand paper yet. Overall a very satisfying shave and I can see why there is so much loyalty to the #58.
Thanks @Mark1966

Anyone got one of those office aftershave ballbreakers that continually complain about the scents in the workplace? Well I got one, that decided to go to HR the other day about it..

my response?

This would have to be one of the strongest and longest lasting splashes I have… Three applications of this splash should do it
