Soap: Pb Nettle n Neem
Brush: 26mm TF HMW
Razor: Jowika 8254
Shave of the week so far for me.

Thanks @Chad for the advice re: the acrylic drawers. We're still getting organised in the shed and the drawers are perfect for razor organisation. I've only got some of the collection out of boxes so far but now I've got somewhere to put them. I might put some small bits of blu tack or double sided tape on the corners as the drawer units slide easily on the shelf and in the stack. The two drawer units are perfect for the straights. Picked them up yesterday for $7 ea at Kmart.

Pre-shave: Hot water, Pears soap
Brush: Forgotten Art "Southern Skies" 30mm Snow Leopard
Soap: Noble Otter Two Kings
Razor: Blackland Vector
Blade: Kai PINK
Post-shave: Shower, homebrew moisturiser. No daylight = no sunblock
COTD: Yemen Mocha Ismaili

Another cold, wet and blustery day, just perfect for rugging up in front of the fire with a glass of whisky. Except it's a bit early in the day for the latter...

Mining Camp Shave

Prep: Barrister Reserve Cool soap, Alt Innsbruck Emulsion
Brush: Shavemac 3-band Silvertip Badger
Cream: Musgo Real Spiced Citrus
Razor: Merkur Futur (2)
Blade: Perma Sharp (1)
Post: Proraso Green Aftershave Lotion, Alt Alt Innsbruck Emulsion

Very close shave. A few pinpricks of blood on the neckline; often happens for me with a travel shave.
Post shave products quickly rectified the situation, and left me feeling most refreshed.

Soap/Cream: Blue Devil ‘Devil Bay’
Razor: Lupo SS 95
Blade:
Gillette Nacet (1)
Post-shave: Alum block, Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve, Armaf ‘Club de Nuit’

Been a while since I used a Nacet, and a weeper in the opening stages reminded me what I was dealing with. So sharp, but what a nice job it did in the ever smoooooth Lupo 95. DFS+

Triple butter with an oil finish........... Nice!!!
Getting more comfortable on setting 3 with the Fatboy. No red spots tonight. Yay.

Razor: WR2 1.25
Blade: Feather
Brush: Omega 11137
Soap: Tabac
Splash: Tabac Cologne

Have to say I am loving the boar brush and the tabac soap. Had enough of this DFS business so back to BBS and the WR2/feather/tabac combo did this with ease and no weepers this time. Was so impressed I ordered another 4 refills 😊

No issue with using the cologne as a splash, skin remained soft and supple.

Pre-shave:- Shower
Brush:- Vie-Long 22mm Brown Horse Hair
Soap:- Gingers Garden - Old Dominion
Razor:- Big Boy De Luxe Gold
Blade:- Gillette Super Stainless (16)
Aftershave:- Gingers Garden - Old Dominion

Did not think any other soap maker could rival Stirling for generosity but this Old Dominion from Gingers Garden is literally full to the brim
Beautiful slick lather, painted on with horse hair brush and the aftershave has an oily texture that dissipates quickly. Did not leave an oily complexion just the initial application was like a fine oil between the fingertips
Old Dominion scent notes of deep mahogany woods, butter soft Italian leather and sweet tobacco, with just a hint of well aged, dark Patchouli.

Pre: Hot Shower, Nivea Skin & Stubble
Brush: DSCosmetic T4
Soap: SJOL Black Pepper & Lime
Razor: Pearl Flexi WTG@5, ATG@2
Blade: Minora (5)
Post: Nivea Skin & Stubble

First pass was good. Unfortunately with ATG I could feel the Minora was not shaving as sharp as I liked. Got about 3 tiny nicks and a weeper on my neck. Sadly I too, can't get the Minora up to double digits.

The DScosmetic brush was a lather hog and had a decent backbone. Well worth it at half price.
