Dont worry, I have thought about it over the past couple of weeks, especially since all the rave reviews BUT am so happy with the current line up I simply dont have any urge to try them.. its quite strange because for me, once the seed is planted.. the outcome is a purchase :)

after todays shave with the Rocca, I just dont believe it can get any better (for me)
Yeah, that was me a month ago, very content where I am, and then the Hawk arrived :) Those thoughts become actions.

It gets better! Can't believe I am saying that but........ it's true. Not a fan of the SE razors, although I did really like the AC straights when I could use them. The Razorock Hawks never really impressed me. The Vector on the first shave, you just know this thing is in its own class.

If you asked me today if I could have only one razor, the Vector would be my answer.

That's a big statement to make as you have a razor collection to rival our resident guru (well nearly) and a big factor in converting me.
Well together with the other Vectorians who have given it rave "fanfuggentastic razor" reviews! o_O
If only it would hurry up already as I can't wait the next few days!!! :nailbiting:

@TomG how many I Coloniali soaps have you have you've got let? as they're no longer available anymore on the market, done and dust.
I've still got a couple tucked away, Speedmaster. I think I sold some to you also?

You did and my brother bought off me, it's ALL gone FINISHED done and dust.

Just make sure you take it real SLOW with you're I Coloniali soap @TomG otherwise you cry like HELL.
Agreed - it is excellent soap.

i hear ya... and all the more reason for me not to try it.. if what you are saying is true, then would make all my other razors not worth having which would be a travesty in itself

If I could shave with the Wolfman WR2 SB 1.45 everyday then it would be top spot. It's so damn efficient there is no need too.:)

The Vector is a daily shaver and damn fine razor at that. Again in saying that for my needs 2 passes WTG no touchups gives a DFS+. 100% I am able to shave next day and enjoy the shave again. If I would go ATG and BBS, then that will ultimately give me a day off from shaving when I don't necessarily want too. Thus the WR2 is king for me on every other day after the first.

Pre-Shave: Hot Shower
Brush: Yaqi - Moka 26mm 2 band finest
Soap/Cream: A&E - Barrister & Mann - Hallows
Razor: Blackland - Vector Ti
Blade: Schick - Proline (6)
Post-shave: Lucky Tiger - Aspen AS splash / B&M - Hallows AS balm

2 Pass WTG Daily shave = DFS+. Another great shave.
Yesterday's shave with a bit of a Halloween 🎃 theme.

yeah that's the main difference between our shaving habits.. I shave ATG everyday and achieve BBS with no irritation (if i align all other factors). The WR2, Lupo's and Roccas give me this so not sure what the vector can offer me.

Maybe the 1.25 WR2 would of hit the spot for you also.. when I only go WTG and XTG i get DFS+ no problem with a feather but yeah DFS and me just dont mix :)

Vector for myself requires no ATG or WTG pass for me to achieve a daily DFS+. Most of the DE you mentioned work great for myself as well but...... usually require a touchup pass to achieve DFS+ especially daily shaving. Those DE's above as mentioned for myself tend to get the best shave with minimal effort on about the second or third day of not shaving. This has everything to do with the efficiency of the AC blades over a DE.

Fact is AC blades are sharper, and generally more durable than any DE blade. They are also longer which adds to the efficiency as more surface area can be covered in same amount of passes. The head design on the Vector is also very narrow, which adds the agility to shave difficult spots with ease that even the best DE wishes it could do. Again not a fault of the DE, just an advantageous attribute of the AC blade that Blackland Razors has taken advantage of.

There's a reason why Wolfman's are many wet shavers dream as the shave ergonomics work wonders even on the highest gaps and thankfully they're not as unobtanium as in the past. We're truly blessed for choice and having the Weekly Reviews affords us an opportunity to see the latest & greatest and I think I can say it but the gap has started to close between the premium razors with many offering different metals, polishing and superior shaves.
