It actually does, I was quite lucky with mine. Unfortunately the spine work has been slightly attacked by rust, but otherwise is in pretry decent shape, will show it one of these days.

Envious you got a couple more, well done!

Pre-shave:- Cold Shower
Bowl/Scuttle:- Captain's Choice
Brush:- Semogue SOC 2 Band Finest Badger in Butterscotch 24/53mm knot
Soap/Cream:- Stirling Soap Co ~ Peach
Razor/Blade:- Blackland Vector SB Matted Finished / Schick Proline P-30 #4
Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Invite E High Potency Pure Oil (10 drops), Natural Plant Glycerin (20) & Tea Tree Oil Antiseptic (5)
Fragrance:- Burberry Weekend for Men
 
Pre-shave: Hot Shower
Brush: Vintage butterscotch Culmak shaving brush
Soap/Cream: Klar Seifen shaving soap
Razor: TSW Bren Handle with replated Gillette NEW head
Blade: Polsilver 'Brown' (3)
Post-shave: AoS Sandalwood gel
Fragrance: N/A

The gel was purchased for me by my wife in San Francisco when she was there on a trip a few years back. Seemed appropriate to use on our anniversary, 31 years today.

What a combo.. the bird is the only razor I have used that has tamed the feather to this extent. Plenty of blade feel but the small gap allowed for a smooth BBS without a weeper, nick or any hint of burn and no feedback from the splash, felt like I was applying witch Hazel

@SpeedyPC give a feather a go in the BB, highly recommend it

Funny that... an open comb with less blade feel than the Dart. Pity the Era has come to an end.. It feels relatively mild but shaves efficiently. My last OC experience was a Razorock GC 84 OC and that definitely had blade feel galore.

The Era OC is the only razor for me that I can use a feather blade in, very nice shaver!

I didnt like it in the R41 either.. dont mind it in the WR2 but need to be quite careful with that combo.. but in the BB, wow, safe and smooth and close

to be honest with you I dont really like feathers in anything else, but in the BB is very nice

give it a crack speedy and let me know what you think, obviously a nice well hydrated lather is not an option
