The lather was so slick this morning I wanted to reach for a straight razor 2nd pass

Pre-shave: Hot water, Pears soap
Brush: Yaqi Rainbow Pony
Soap: Stirling Bergamot Lavender
Razor: Blackland Vector
Blade: Schick Proline
Post-shave: Shower, La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 and Anthelios SPF50+, Oxford & Cambridge cologne

A great setup, but although I was born and raised here, I find I'm noticing the difference in the water here from the mountain rainwater I have at what I now call home. First world problems...

I've shot down the trouble I was having with image loading. Seems the default router configuration here was pointing to the local ISP's default DNS, which for whatever reason wasn't finding those server hosts. So I've just set my tablet to resolve names using Cloudflare's DNS and all is well again.

Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Tony Forsyth P&C LE 2020 Matilda Rhodium 2-band Silvertip Badger;
Soap: Musgo Real Classic
Razor: Above The Tie S1 / UFO Tornado
Blade: NOS Iridium Super BN-84 (6)
Post: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel, Bootlegger's Green Freeze Aftershave Lotion
Scent: Musgo Real Classic Cologne

Musgo Real soap flies a little under the radar, but it is a very good soap. It is the type of soap that, once you've lathered up, you never seem to go back to the puck, as it creates so much quality lather. Excellent post shave, and of course that wonderful Musgo Real Classic scent.
A damn fine shave!

I tend to not see some pics and assumed it was due to me using a VPN as similar experience using the work internet connection...?

Everything works fine on my standard though???

Can't fault Washpool's soap base as lathers great but man how I hate Cedarwood as it over powers all other scent notes, making the smell too earthy for my liking. (n)

If your issue is the same as mine, you could try setting DNS1 to 1.1.1.1 and DNS2 to 1.0.0.1 on your device independently of your VPN settings.

Yes - I get you regarding the earthiness. I recall having a conversation with another member regarding this, and he suggested that the tallow scent in the Washpool base was quite strong, and hence they pair strong scent notes to suit.
I find this also the case with Phoenix & Beau soaps, with scents like Spitfire working best for them, as the notes are complementary to the natural tallow note.
