Just in case the metallurgist amongst us was having an adverse reaction to all that wood @TomG ;)
The Mastro definitely likes to engrave his name on everything reminds me of Pierre Cardin
TBH until tonight I thought he had signed the bottom of the brush but it says Super SN
Any ideas what the SN stands for? I wonder if the engraver started writing Silvertip and got it wrong, or gave up :)

My camera seems to have made my brush handle purple. :(
 
I picked this up at an op shop for $5. The hairs were rubbish. I replaced the knot with a Rhodium knot, and this little brush is now an absolute superstar in my collection.

I didn't want to mention that I had a brush like that over 40 years ago, but the hairs were rubbish even then. Funnily enough, rhodium knots weren't an option...
