Shave Report:
Pumped two Squirts of liquid cream (about 3gms) into my lathering bowl and using a damp brush produced a rich, creamy & dense lather with 11ml water added. Lather gave a great overall performance it was slick, protective and felt good on the skin. For me the scent is a generic spicy woody scent similar to Nivea Deep Comfort AS but more spicy, scent strength 7/10. The Lord L6 is a budget friendly that I picked up for about AU$15.00 and with the Shark Platinum blade it gave me a wonderful clean, smooth, close, irritation free DFS.

Pre-shave: Hot shower
Brush: Billy Goat Brushworks 2 band badger
Soap: Saponificio Varesino ‘Opuntia’
Razor: Bleckmann’s Magnetic 6/8
Strop: DCBlades Roo/Cotton
Post-shave: Shavex Alum block, Fine ‘Platinum’, Mont Blanc ‘Explorer’
I'm in the process of putting JNat edges on most of my collection; next in line was my Bleckmann 6/8 which was treated to a full Nagura progression. The result was terrific, and as I also did my Friodur 72 can't wait to see if it turns out as good! So much easier to shave with a great edge on a straight; I suspect I may be getting slightly better at it!

Those timber cases in the background hold some of me whetstones.

I have become rather proficient with this French point Titan ACRM-2 T.H.60 over the past week or so. Time to give it a break. This weekend's shaves are booked, so will shave with some of my odds and sods next week so that they don't get jealous and bite me.
