I really like the soap base in Moon soaps. It's always a pleasure to use. The only downside for me to Moon soaps for me is the fact that I cannot get their matching alcohol based aftershaves.I went back to the PAA Gondolier and gave a bloody good deep smell, and yes it does smell floral in a very deep way as an old school barbershop scent, I’ve also got Moons Old School soap coming in the mail soon.

How do you like the Lucky Tiger Bay Rum?SOTD – Sun 19 Feb 2023
Shave Result: The RazoZero base produced a surprising rich creamy lather from half a teaspoon of soft textured soap. TFS have really maximized the performance from the basic ingredients, it has plenty of primary slickness, even some residual, which all you really need from a budget shaving soap. To me the scent is a pleasant spicy woody tobacco aroma with some floral, lather scent strength 4/10. With the Yaqi Razzo’s largish blade reveal and gap I shaved virtually riding the cap, still I was able to achieve a clean smooth DFS without irritations.
For reference here's the RazoZero basic ingredients: Stearic Acid, Aqua(Water), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Potassium Hydroxide, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance (Parfum), Linalool, Coumarin.

Lucky Tiger Bay Rum is one of the few Bay Rum splashes that I like, I'm not normally a fan of Bay Rum scented soaps and splashes. How do you like the Lucky Tiger Bay Rum?

When all my unscented Valobra is gone, I'll probably just buy some MdC Rose. In the meantime, I'll just enjoy one of the most perfect soaps ever made...
You’re not alone, I missed Valobra too. When I started wet shaving, the Valobra stick was the first soap that really impressed me. I really miss it.
For a brief interval, I entertained some hope that the new owners of Valobra (Martinelli, familiar for Proraso), would reopen their doors, but too much time has now passed. You'd think it might be worthwhile to get some value for their EUR spent, but apparently not. This is an oldish pic of my Valobra stash...When I started wet shaving, the Valobra stick was the first soap that really impressed me. I really miss it.

... I'm halfway through one of those unscented pucks, and the cardboard package of O&C now occupies that turned aluminium bowl.
Enough for a few years, but when it's gone, it's gone forever.
