The mighty Minora is probably the best blade so far, but I wouldnt say it tamed the Dart. Still a very close shave with blade feel. Riding the cap mitigated the blade feel somewhat.
Try a Gillette Rubie as its my go to blade for assertive razors and paired great with the Dart.

Adding a bit of water as you go of a fact of life with any soap, especially if you shave your head as well as your face, as it all takes a bit of time.
This is very true.
I feel like I am fairly quick to shave once I get going but the green tub is nowhere near as good as the red tub. The few shaves I have had with it has always been fairly average. The scent is nice as is the aftershave though.

Pre-shave: Hot Shower, Proraso Pre-Shave
Brush: Dovo
Soap: Boellis Panama
Razor: Adresso 8/8
Post-shave: Thayer's Witch Hazel

This soap performs as well as the very best that I have used, it's just a shame that the almond scent is rather faint . This has been the case with most other almond scented soap that I've used so far.

Also try a Tiger platinum blade if you have any. Heck try a Derby Extra or Platinum before you give up on it. You'd be surprised what these blades can do for these kinds of razors.

I think I have this soap somewhere. I bought it many years ago but from memory off the puck it smelled rather strong to me. I think it was also in a nice soft yellow pouch and a neat (possibly navy colored) box.
It's good to hear that it is a great performer though. I rarely see this one around or being used these days.

I think they do it in batches every now and then. You're right it's not always available. Mine does have a mild scent off the puck but once lathered I don't get much scent from it. The good thing about it is that I can pretty much use any aftershave or cologne with it.

Razor: Blackland Vector
Blade: Schick Proline

This wooden soap bowl is starting to look a little ratty. But this is its third puck of the lovely Windsor...

Pre-shave:- Cold Shower
Bowl/Scuttle:- Captain's Choice
Brush:- Semogue Special Edition 2013 Silvertip 24/48mm knot
Soap/Cream:- Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements ~ Gondolier CK-6 (sample)
Razor/Blade:- Blackland Vector SB Matted Finished / Feather Pro Super #3
Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Invite E High Potency Pure Oil (10 drops), Natural Plant Glycerin (20) & Tea Tree Oil Antiseptic (5)
Fragrance:- Tommy Hilfiger for Men

If anybody enjoys Barbershop scents the Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements ~ Gondolier CK-6 and the scent profile are Bergamot, Rose, Jasmine, Oakmoss, Coumarin, Citronella, Juniper & Cedar.

This soap smells very deep old-school style barbershop, and I can compare both sides with Stirling Barbershop, Stirling is a bit sweeter and not as deep as Gondolier, I'm told that Moon Old School smells a lot better than Stirling Barbershop and the PAA Gondolier.

Here is the complete scent profile of the Barbershop soaps below:-

Barrister and Mann Seville:- Bergamot, Lemon, Patchouli, Oakmoss, Lavender, and Rosemary
Moon Old School:- Tobacco play on top of Vetiver, Leather, Mahogany, and Sweet Vanilla
PAA CaD CK-6:- Talc, Rose, Bergamot, Oakmoss, Vetiver, Coumarin, and Musk.
PAA Club Guy CK-6:- Smells very much like Clubman 💩(I wouldn't be recommended this soap to anybody)
PAA Condolier CK-6:- Bergamot, Rose, Jasmine, Oakmoss, Coumarin, Citronella, Juniper and Cedar
Stirling Barbershop:- Powdery, Masculine, and Sweet Vanilla

Either all other razors mysteriously disappeared or someone seems to have taken a strong liking to the Blutt.

Only this week.

I usually get two weeks from a razor, get bored and change it.

That sounds pretty great to me. I often find I have to use an unscented soap because I would shave more so at night so that might be pretty great and being able to use any aftershave is pretty much a bonus. Thanks for the advice. I vaguely recall there may have been an aftershave balm in a jar to match or from the same brand but I didn't get a chance to buy it from TVB shaving before it shut down. Definitely a luxury soap.
I wish Pannacrema kept the nice ceramic container soaps as an option along side what they now offer too. I'm a sucker for packaging sometimes.

The 2nd pic is the travel set as our second bub was forcibly evicted from wifey last Wednesday and we will be checking out of hospital tomorrow.

While elated (or is it sleep-deprived delirium?) I can't say I missed the diaper changing at all hours of the night. First daughter was very chuffed with her new sister.
