BRUSH: Oumo 01 Venus SHD Badger Fire Color 26mm FAN
LATHER: Pre de Provence No. 63 Shave Soap

The Boti Anodised Titanium AC Razor looks nice but how does it stack up to your other AC razors and do you find the coating slippery in the hand?

Thanks for asking @Razor Burn. First of all, the handle has enough relief in the design, that it's easy to grip even when wet. As far as comparison goes, the Boti is a decorative version of Shield's basic AC razor. Made in China, the fit and finish of Shield razors is as good, or better, than any U.S. or European razors. IMHO, the AC version performs on a level with the RR Hawk V3 standard, Alpha Claymore Evolution, and Blackland Vector.
And now we wait for the obligatory rebuttal from @Gargravarr. :)

SOTD – Sun 16 April 2023

Shave Result: The Moon soap produced a rich creamy medium-high density lather with excellent lather performance and good post shave feel but IMO not a top tier soap. To my nose the Lather scent is a Tobacco & Vanilla type aroma that reminds me of Haverford by Stirling, scent strength is quite light though 3/10. Awesome shave from the Yaqi TFC, close smooth and just one weeper but not irritations.

The Gear:
