I have the British Rocket Flaretip, and the British Rocket HD 500, both are great daily shaves. My favourite is the Flaretip because It always reminds me of my dad who used one all his life. In those days everyone only had 1 razor.^^^^ Not a truer word has been spoken
The vintage blades will be hit or miss. They may put you off injectors forever. I buy Chinese Schick blades from Amazon and Schick Proline B-20 blades from Connaught in the UK. I can usually get 12-15 comfortable shaves using either one. The Prolines come in a pack of 20 and need to be reloaded into a Schick magazine. The Chick blades come in four Schick magazines with 7 blades in each.I found this one pretty cheap so have my first Schick injector on the way.
Any suggestions for blades that I can get relatively easy? I'm not looking to buy too many as I just want to try it out to see if I like it.
If there are any blades in the magazine, would they still be any good?
Thanks Phil. PM incoming. The Schick adjustable you scored is considered to be one of the best injectors ever produced.
I had to look up akigalawood, the first scent on the list. Apparently it smells like patchouli. Bummer.Coming soon in the mail from Beard and Blade in Victoria

Or you could have @Pbgoose cook up an Australian version. Let’s call it the Southern Cross and he can grab the whisky from a local Capertee distillery.
I did that with Irish Whisky - Pb Gillean, the difference being Groom Room is available.Or you could have @Pbgoose cook up an Australian version. Let’s call it the Southern Cross and he can grab the whisky from a local Capertee distillery.

I was going to say now that you reminded everyone that you made a whiskey based soap you would have to send @SpeedyPC a sample for his soap bank. It does seem that he agrees.I did that with Irish Whisky - Pb Gillean, the difference being Groom Room is available.
