Soap: Catie's Bubbles Irish Coffee
Pre: Shower + Washpool face cleansing bar
Post: TSW balm

Three different setups and three different experiences. Love the finish of the Mamba but just too mild for this particular shave. The scent and slickness of the Pereira''s Charcoal soap is well worth a look at  The WCS SB shaves similarly to your normal EJ DE89 knockoff and the added weight of the handle pairs up well. Nothing more to add to the APR F/B/R = Smells devine and works a treat. Add to that some Festivus and you're on your way! Finally, always love me some Irish Coffee and the Dart shaves are efficient with slight bite... The joys of being a 'traditional wet shaver' (y)

KarveD w/Polsilver
Yaqi metal silvertip (long handle)
DRHarris Windsor soap
Gaia ASB

Missed my shave yesterday so today's shave was particularly close, which is always the case when I have 2+ days of stubble.

The silvertip now has about 8 uses on it and has softened up very nicely.
I'll use it a few more times before I change over to a two band that I want to break in some more.

Sad news, Raw shaving is closing operations as of today. I feel lucky that I purchased it when I did.

Back to the Nacet today after my little Polsilver experiment, the PSI blades work well in the C plate for me but with the F plate, too unforgiving. My face definitely prefers the Nacet. A satisfying Saturday shave

Ummm...I'm kinda lost for words today!
No, not because I'm sleep deprived cos of my newborn but because I used a boar brush after 2 years and it was freaking amazing!!

I've been asking myself why did I stop using boar brushes?!?

The lather was just so much more yoghurt-like than synthetic or badger. I guess that's why I used boar brushes exclusively for 5 years and now I'm kinda regretting selling all but 3.

I felt the same way too, because, I love badger brushes and I cannot stop reaching the boar brushes. So I’m very happy to have both knots in my den.

Yeah, at the time I thought you were nuts for letting your boar brushes go but there's so much YMMV gets thrown around this place who was I to say anything.:) The good thing about boar brushes you can always restock as you don't have to spend a fortune to score a nice brush.

Yeah, I think in grab more boars soon.
I really liked the semogue 830 when I had one a few years ago so that'll definitely be included.

I don't think I'll get more omega as I have two, one natural and one bleached.

I’m planning on buying a boar knot when I work out what sort of handle I’d like. Would like to make a handle but don’t have the time at this stage.
