I rarely stretch a blade as find they shave unevenly beyond 6 shaves but so far best results when pairing Wizamet & Rocca.

Curious to see how far the Minora/Stainless Red's go as a pass mark for me will be whether they remain sharp, smooth and shave evenly beyond 8 hours which they have so far.

My record for a single blade was 24 shaves with a Derby for a February shave challenge but it was torture as the blade lost its sharpness well after 5 shaves and although smooth it left my beard growth patchy by lunchtime. Not a happy experience but done in the name of science! :facepalm:

I won’t have any skin left on my face using the bloody Derby, otherwise, I’ll look like Freddy Krueger from hell.

Legit question though, are these current or discontinued blades we're talking about?
If discontinued @SpeedyPC probably has already purchased another military storage container to fill with just these blades!

Only the Gillette Stainless (red & while) are discontinued from the market and these are made from Russia for the Middle East.

They’re ALL MINE :smuggrin: these are my Holy Grail DE blades.

The Gillette Minora blades are unofficially confirmed to be the reissue of a discontinued blade the Gillette Stainless (red & white). If you look at @SpeedyPC blade list you will see that these blades are rated the number 1 modern blade.

The reason for this thread is to hopefully bust a few myths, and be able to inform the members here that the best modern blade made is back.

@SpeedyPC sure you don't want a few tucks to try. I promise these ones are not double wrapped in pink like the Minora Platiunims?:D

PM coming and I’ll fully investigate the Gillette Minora Stainless, IF, they’re the same as the Gillette Stainless.
 
It's funny, I spent some time looking for these blades not long before I decided to go down the Dark Path of SE shaving. Figures. Never mind, I don't even have a DE razor any more... :whistle:

I’m saying that you must’ve have at least two or three DE razors kept in your den, I wouldn’t sell all of them, and just stick to SE razor like you’re RazoRock Hawk.

No, I decided that since the AC blades just work so well for me, I might as well specialise. So my bigger stash of Polsilver and Gillette Yellow blades went to my "little" brother (he's a foot taller than I am), and the rest went in the thread I mentioned. I'm not a hoarder, I like to minimise my stash. I sometimes have fantasies of getting down to 3 or 4 (OK, maybe 5) really great soaps. Hahaha :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

If I really wanted to, I could happily live with just one razor, the Vector, it is that bloody good.
