They breed I tell you!

There are NOT all mine I'm sure. Has anybody else noticed that 'The Stray Whisker' boxes seem to be becoming the recycled packaging 'du jour' of the Australian shaving community?

Might have something to do with the quality box and abundance of packing materials which are bound to be inside!

Hahaha I find it funny how I can measure the escalation of my addiction just by the boxes that arrive.
At first it was a neat little box, very humble in proportions, followed by a slightly larger box and so forth and so forth until the boxes started to become this Frankenstein of a custom Stray Whisker box to accommodate my obsession.
I like to imagine Con and Kim pondering over my latest order as Con gleams at a two boxes and strokes his moustache as he carefully considers the creation of the next custom box to fit in all of my items safely. :D lol

The Floid aftershave was from last month but I forgot to add it so I put it in here.
I still have another box to arrive from The Stray Whisker and a few other parcels from overseas. ;)

Special thanks to @shavetheman (for his amazing customer service along with Kim and superb shaving products @Nightguard (for his patience with me and for generously allowing me to buy his wonderful Plisson brush. Not featured here) @Korbz (for his great review on the blacks hip Grooming Soaps which has ultimately convinced me to buy their soap and aftershave)

And everyone here for the interaction and encouragement over the past few weeks that I have been here)

Tonight's shave will be dedicated to all of you. ;)

I think people, our work here is done.

Amazing haul.

Next ... ;)

Mega purchase from four different vendors.
  • 1000 Polsilver SI blades from eBay (technically purchased last month, but didn't have a chance to photograph)
  • Mühle DE guard and tube from shaving.ie
  • Charky's soaps from his shop
  • PAA and CK soaps as well as 28mm beauty from TSW

The fun starts tomorrow! Will start with PAA as I used Charky's and CK. I sniffed PAA Al Fin and it was amazing. Cannot describe the scent but it reminded me something very familiar from my past. Wow. Cannot wait!

Nice haul! Some great stuff in that lot for sure.

Where do you start? It will take 9 days just to try all the soaps.
Oh, and I'm keen for a review of the SW Badger please.

Hahaha, this is the second parcel from The Stray Whisker this week. :)
I think I went a little crazy. haha.

@Sxot it's so hard because there are just so many I have not tried from last month but I can't wait to get around to it. I had to go on a little break to allow my skin to recover from a harsh shave recently (user error) but look forward to coming back to it tomorrow. I am thinking about starting with the Beaver Woodwright Two Bits or the I-coloniali soap puck.

I posted up my little review of TSW Badger brush. In my humble opinion it's a great brush that is well worth the money that I would recommend to anyone just starting out or as an experienced shaver.

Awesome acquisitions @Rusty Bridges!

When you have had a chance to work through all that fine quality 'swag' I would love to see some reviews with your thoughts and opinions, particularly in regard to the soaps, balms and so forth.

"Ok, fine, you've mastered the clickbait course as well..." I hear you say, as you ask for a close up.
I think I can manage that :)
