Tonight's shave was partly inspired by our meeting this afternoon. Thanks to @Mark1966 via @bald as for the vintage Wilkinson Sword blade. Naturally, the accompanying razor had be also be a vintage Wilkinson so the Sticky got the nod.
After a recommendation by @khun_diddy i chose the Dr Harris Windsor cream from the box and these ingredients combined beautifully to produce a shave that has left me feeling a million bucks.
I would not have known it was a vintage blade but it paired well with the razor. It was sharp but so comfortable that i felt like i could not do damage if i tried. 2 passes were enough for a very, very smooth outcome.
I lathered up what i thought was a small amount of cream but turned out to be enough for at least 5 passes hahaha. I kept adding water and the lather kept growing. The scent in the container was nothing special but on the face was superb. Citrus maybe. The best thing was the feeling on the face during and post shave. Almost nourishing, even after rinsing several times i could sense it on my face.
No aftershave was necessary really but for the sake of trying one more item i decided to apply the Faena Aftershave Lotion. The scent seemed to complement the scent of the cream well. Again i detected citrus. Very little noticeable sting on application and i felt nourished.
A perfect shave to take away the Sunday night blues

Hahaha i will try them soon, tried soap commander Thursday night... Can't remember which one.

Currently sitting in a birthing suite waiting for my daughter to rock up....

So when I make it home it'll be cit throat shave, bourbon & maybe a cigar (sadly a cheap shit vanilla jobby, all i can get locally)

So just me and the boy tonight, girls get a another night in town.

So put the boy to bed and set about a tiny celebration.

I have no idea exactly what soap I used but I WILL be hunting it down. The fragrance was amazing. Rather nice lather too! Shave was average, thought about replacing the blade... Should have! Way too tired & probably should have had the tipple after the shave. But still a nice shave, no doubt!

Mark those suggestions aren't in this box, are the for the next one? You have me interested in bay rum now....
