Resin Cast Shaving Brush Handles Made in Oz

A longer handled shaving brush. Despite the actual handle length being 100mm in length it feels really good in the hand. The timber has a fair amount of nice curly figure through it and a little bit of burning and texturing gave it a nice look I thought.
The handle has been textured and burnt and then finished with Cyanoacrylate for timber protection against water ingress. The handle has been fitted with a 24mm silvertip knot.
Shaving Brush Details:-
Largest Handle Diameter - 38mm
Overall Height - 150mm
Handle length - 100mm
Loft - 50mm
Socket width - 25mm.

Thanks @ben74 Only relatively new to the art of custom casting and handle making but thoroughly enjoying the learning experience. I have been like a big sponge for the last month or two soaking up as much information as I can regarding all things brushes :)

@Tony Forsyth so pleased to see you are even casting your own the rod stock! Apologies if its been covered elsewhere, but are you shaping on a lathe or by CNC machine?

Yeah, it really is and from what I can gather from my communications with him @Tony Forsyth is a top notch fella too.

Our grand overlord is quite good like that as well, have to publicly note that in order to increase my annual gift of GSB's :p
 
Made these two today as a treat to myself :woot::D
The first one is what is called our Rusticated handle blank and is fitted with a 26mm Manchurian Fan. The second one is what is called our ICE Fusion handle blank and is fitted with one of our 26mm High Mountain White Bulbs.
I might even give one of them a run tonight (y)
