Brush: Semogue 1305
Soap/Cream: Occams Original
Razor: Weber PH
Blade: Rapira (1)
Aftershave: Floid

First bowl lather for an age - thought this might see how thirsty the Smog could get. I tell you what the Occams gave it a run for its money. That cream builds an amazing lather. @Occams mate, you should be uber proud of your product. First time with a Rapira (big thanks @filobiblic ), quite good. Quite smooth and pretty sharp…remind me of Treets.

Brush: Semogue SOC
Soap: Mamma Bear Ole Barbershoppe
Razor: Gillette OC Short Comb
Blade: Personna Lab (Fresh blade)
Aftershave: Myrsol Blue

Hey Stillsy. A special for you, mate. Cracked open a bottle of Blue. The scent is fresh and powdery. It contains menthol but I didn't get that expected cooling sensation. Initial burn but that I put down to a suspect dud blade that scraped more than it cut. The scent lingered lightly for about an hour or two. Post skin feel was top notch. Perfect match for the barbershop scent of the Mamma Bear soap but would compliment just about anything.

Flattered mate. Thank you!
Must say that's looks like a darned great shave.
Nice photo too BTW - can I ask what you're shooting with?

Shave 16 on the Personna 74.
Felt really hot here tonight so cracked open my last tube of Proraso green original formula.

Another great shave - when will this blade die?

I've a theory upon blades like the 74.
I propose that the rate of deterioration is a fraction of the average blade, to the point that it's not readily discernible.
Problem with this, is you're lured into a false sense of performance.

As for recent shaves...
Nannys on loan from @filobiblic
Feather in Slim Shady for one night, then Polsilver SI in the slant borrowed from, you guessed it @filobiblic for the next few.
Have used the shedomatic, thaters silvertip and a possible vintage rooney (yes, there's a back story with it)
Finished off with thayters witch hazel spiked with menthol.
Am liking this mystery slant, a lot.

Shave 16? WTF? You got stubble made of Play-Doh or sum fink?

Hmmm., what slant? Metal or Bakelite?

This is news mate. What's the back story here? My recently arrived Thater Silvertip is vying for Top Dog in my cabinet already…other brushes absolutely hate it…the Simpsons was getting pretty hoighty-toighty before it arrived - humbling for it I reckon.

Not as economical as Jermyn Street but who really cares about that.

Leave it in the same place your wife's old leg shaving cream was and it won't be so economical. She loves the smell but doesn't brush it on properly so almost uses it like shaving goo.

Jealous?
I have no idea what that video is.

Had the first shave with it on 29th October.

It's the first blade I've had to clean while in use.

So what do you think of the Nanny's?
(For everyone who used the P&CTB2 - this is the Nanny's Soap with the former Sandalwood scent.)

Mystery slant?! You're all cloak & dagger @borked... [emoji12]

Can add @Mark1966 to that list too. I think he eked out 18 odd shaves from a Schick platinum plus a while back.
I thought he came close to 20? Amazing whatever it was...

Metal.
One of my first brushes and it's sooo soft.
A bit small/floppy for my liking though, yet highly rate it, particularly now I've an idea how to build a hard soap lather.
I actually find it interesting to change up what I use so I can appreciate the differences/benefits of each individual brush.

I rate the Nanny's ya flamin enabler ;)
Have to see what scents are available.
Edit: hmm Ice & s Slice Signature perhaps ?

I honestly don't know the model!
Feel free to jump in here...

Oh! I thought you were playing a game!!!
It's the Merkur 37C slant.

Glad you like the Nanny's - as I did too. It is a wonderful lather but this scent sucks.

Right back at you for your loan of Mike's Peppermint & Rosemary... [emoji12]

You asked and offered.
I plead innocence your honour :p

That doesn't make much sense. If the rate of deterioration is a fraction of a standard blade you've basically defined an above average blade that per definition will last longer. In my case at least I've been trying really hard to find fault with it but I can't. It's been really disappointing, having to agree with all those sad blade freaks.
