28 January (Shorty Sunday)

I find it difficult to keep my hands off this razor on Sundays. I only have two shorties and the other is a Cadman "Bengall".

This morning's shave was with my Titan ACRM-2 T.H.60 modified to a French point shorty and dressed in flame figured European maple timber scales. Edge is finished and maintained on diamond pasted balsa.

No-brand Solingen, probably from the 1930s-40s, finished and maintained on diamond pasted balsa and dressed in golden wattle timber scales. This is a favourite of mine.

I am getting the feeling that this blade's edge is about as keen as my GD W59 off diamond pasted balsa. One day I might do a dual razor comparison shave with both.
