The finale of my stress-free shaving week. A matching seven-day set of Titan ACRM T.H-70 razors with Tabac (tallow) soap.

Tomorrow I will start on some of my two-day sets and try for the first time some Razorock soaps. I have gold, green, black and blue label sticks. This will be my first experience with Razorock soaps.

It gives an unusual kind of lather, it doesn't develop that gloss I get from other soaps, but it still seems slick enough. Some lavender EO soaps can be a bit strident, but this just smells like the flowers, and the scent just keeps coming throughout the shave.

I hope your hospital stay was for nothing life-threatening? All the best for your recovery :)
Hey thanks @Gargravarr . Yeah, just some maintenance. Been putting up with a hernia for a couple of years so time to get proactive before it made the decision for me. :)

What fun, I've had a couple of those back in the days before all that keyhole surgery became universal. I remember the orderly who came round to measure me up for my coffin prior to surgery telling me "you know this is going to hurt like fuck, don't you?"

Titan ACRM-2 T.H.60 finished and maintained on diamond pasted balsa and dressed in African black wood timber scales. For this and the next shave, I am using a Razorock gold label stick.

This soap surprised me at how good it was. It requires a lot more water compared to most of my other soaps to get it to the consistency that I desire. However, it lathers up well and quickly and the slickness is the best that I have experience!

Been a while so..:
Blade: feather
Soap: MWF tallow
Brush: Troytools Osage (beautiful brush, now my favourite BTW)
Post: Witchhazle and a NATIO facial moisturiser.
Razor: super speed

hard to go wrong with this very mild and efficient setup

Yeah, that's what I meant. Recovery from keyhole is not insignificant but very thankful I had that option. I only had to resort to opioid based pain killers once post op. :)
