How does the after shave wax go?

It's really nice: not greasy, leaves my skin feeling great, and the scent is quite subtle, so you can easily pair it with a cologne if that is your thing. I can't believe it isn't more popular, especially as a winter option. You also need only a small amount (pea sized glob), so it is pretty good value.

How does it compare to balm?

It's halfway between a balm and a wax; a little thicker and, initially, a slight tackiness that is gone as soon as you start rubbing it in.

Not for me, the Vestige would win every time. I love it. The No. 7 looks very strange, and I wouldn't go near it.

Shave Report: The Yaqi soaps are made by Master Soap Creations so it provides a top lather performance IMO. From the lather I get a lovely aquatic fougere cologne type aroma, reminiscent of Brut & Cool Water combo, scent strength 6/10. Wonderful clean, smooth, close DFS, near BBS.
