Razor: FINE Slant
Blade: Ladas (1)
Brush: Paladin Chief
Lather: Mystic Water
Post-shave: Alum, Barrister & Man Kyovu Original, South Australian Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil​

Best shave with the Fine so far an fantastic lather (picture in the lather section) - great start into the new very very wet and windy week.
 
@alfredus how do you get your photos looking so professional and amazing?
That is very very kind of you @saku39 - unfortunately I don't see it that way :(

Anyway I try to use some sort of stand for the camera and use a self-timer, this one was done in a cheap Chinese "light tent", which I wouldn't buy again and spend the extra cash to get a decent one, but mostly I depend on my gimp skills [emoji17]

This morning's prep started off with Top Seven Pre Emulsion. A very generous gift from my mate, @Osman :)
Impressive as a pre-shave. Subtle and fresh scent that doesn't interfere with the fragrance or quality of the lather. Will definitely make it part of my daily routine.
This Timor is a bit of an enigma. The blade felt like it had seen better days but the end result was a super close shave and smooth face. 15 shaves on one blade is super impressive.​
 
It is a Semogue boar. Premium 90% tops. 22mm with 50mm loft. Unfortunately dyed.
So I am not the only one who always had a problem with this - I really don't understand why they have to dye them - especially those beautiful limited ones...

This is the first time I used the boar on SV, truly highlights to me that boars don't retain as much water.

First pass was too pasty I loaded like a psychopath, resulted in a slightly pasty not so slick lather. Second pass was better. Third was a bit too thin.

Didnt get a close shave like I usually do with SV and merkur set up, I will repeat again tomorrow. But still good and no irritations. I did 4 passes though.

@MrT and @alfredus, is the SOC naturally blonde? Not unbleached? I like it. I agree with the dye too, not a big fan.
 
I believe the SOC is advertised as natural undyed - but who knows what is really going on in those factories...

If you are really interested in Semogues, you could always EMail Leon from Vintage Scent - he lives apparently down the road from the Semogue factory and has definitely more insight than I do...

They might not be made from real boars! [emoji32] [emoji32] [emoji32]
 
I'm told the semogue limit edition boar brushes comes in black dye stripe otherwise I could be mistaken, and I'm sure someone told me about 4 months ago I can't remember the omega boar limit edition brushes don't have black dye stripe.

So, after the fall of the vintage blade, I decided to try the modern version and grabbed one of the GSB sampler blades. Very nice blade, and a very nice shave tonight.
 
Razor: Rockwell 6S (4)
Blade: Voskhod (3)
Brush: Simpson duke 2 pure
Soap: Shaver Heaven Peppermint Plus
After: Alum, Myrsol formula "C"

Felt better with the Rockwell this morning. I think plate 4 is a bit of a winner for me so far. Well get one last shave out of the Voskhod and try the next plate me thinks. [emoji2]

Razor: Schick Injector (G-type)
Blade: Personna
After-shave: Myrsol Antesol

Fifth shave from this injector blade - I decided to go with a simple and light shave this morning. I think the right injector would be a perfect daily shaver.
