Feather Popular / Gillette Silver Blue
Semogue 1438
TOBS Avocado
National Alum (India) / Olay Men Refreshing Energy Post Shave Toner / SCS Bay Rum w/ a twist ASM
After a rough shave a couple of days ago, today's shave was very pleasant (I think my previous shave may have been rough because I chose to use a Shark SC blade that was sitting in the razor for over a month - You live & learn). I used the Feather Popular this time around to give myself every chance in having a mild shave. I got closer than I thought, which is probably due to the GSB blade. Topped it off with SCS Bay Rum, which gave a little bit of burn, but in a good way. Overall, a very nice Sunday evening shave.

Happy Shaving Everyone !!

Pre: GFT lime skin food
Brush: Shavemac 177
Soap: tabula rasa cardamom (thanks to @Psmith for his generosity)
Razor: iKon B1 Slant
Blade: Polsilver SI
Post: alum, witch hazel with aloe, Aesop Moroccan neroli

I might have under loaded the brush a little as it is placed in a small tin can, made it hard to use my brush to load it. Will try scooping it out tomorrow. Couldn't produce enough lather for 3 passes. I prefer to overload than under. I might just grab a tub for myself from gifts and care.

This soap here is right in my alley, as I am a scent-ghoul. That cardamom scent just explodes. Cannot stop sniffing at it whilst face lathering. They are right, despite not getting the usual slickness I am used to, it glides well and the post shave feel is very good. Cheers @Psmith for introducing this to me.

I used a third use PSI blade on the slant, and it performed really well. On second use with the OSS, it felt like it's a little not as keen as the first use. Swapped it onto the slant, it did pretty well. Managed a damn fine 2-pass shave. Close and comfortable. Ready for Monday.

Nice one! Does he have other scents too? Based on what I have read, I think I'd be keen with the olibanum, herbal(lemon grass dominant), vetyver and dark lavender. Choices choices. Will lay it off for this month, I have a few soaps incoming. Otherwise the missus will go ape sh*t.

OT:- My brother is on holidays and all his soaps is under lock'en key and including my Shaver Heavens soaps he stole from me, rotten bastard comes with a very good lock and I've seen him using this soap Tabula Rasa Cardamom. As far as I'm aware he got 26 different shaving soaps and creams which I can't grab his soap since he stole mind, any way all my soap is under lock'en key as well so he can't get to mind as I can't get to his. Also I've ordered the Martin de Candre Scented Shaving Soap 200g $80 AUD won't kill the rest of my bloody organs, and that my last shaving shopping for at least 8 months or longer.

Vitos Preshave
Rooney Emillion Size 1 Super Badger
Stirling Soap Co - Margaritas in the Arctic
One Blade
Despined Gem (4)
Alcolado Glacial aftershave

A hot day called for a strong menthol shave today.

Probably the best shave with the One Blade so far. Still feels strange to use. Very much like a pivoting cartridge shave.

Ahhh, more Myrsol goodness -

This tips in this boar are so soft too - definitely broken in this one!

SOTN:
Brush:
Semogue SOC 2 Band Finest Badger in Cherry Wood (4) - Keep in mind I'm only shaving every second day while I'm breaking in the brush to soften the tips, trouble is it's getting a bit harder to be patient with this brush.
Razor: Razorock Mission
Blade: Polsilver Super Iridium (4)
Soap/Cream: Maca Root Shaving Cream
Post/After Shave: Alum Block / T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent / Nivea Soft Moisturising Cream

My brother has been using Nivea Soft Moisturising Cream after his shave so I thought I try some first he apply the Alum Block & T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent and than apply the Nivea Soft Moisturising Cream which is by far lighter than the Nivea Men Creme & Nivea Creme version, it has completely rehydrate my skin much quicker and lighter it make my skin feels soft, super-fast absorbing and non-greasy and it comes with Jojoba Oil and Vitamin E which is excellent.

Keep in mind guys the Nivea Men Creme is exactly the same product Nivea Creme version, and the only product is different is Nivea Soft so just remember this Nivea Men Creme is exactly the same product Nivea Creme so don't get yourself confused.

Pre: Shower/ Face Wash
Soap: SH Absolution
Brush: 24mm St James 'Super Badger'
Razor: 6/8 Fridour Inox
Post: Alum, Thayers Cucumber, Saponificio Varesino AB 'Tundra Artica'

A bit of a harsh shave this morning, couldn't quite get into my Shaving Zen Zone. So thanks to that I got two nicks, one on the ear lobe and one on the Adam's Apple :(.
Well I hope everyone else will have a more pleasant shave today.

Honed my first blade up. Here it is - my first SOTD with a self made edge. Needs more refining as it's very sharp but a bit harsh. Back to the Jnat!!

Loving this soap scent! I thought I didn't like citrus, but I like this! I bought it hoping for a menthol type hit from the eucalyptus but no. To me, the blood orange is the primary, followed by the lemon. I like it very much despite not sensing much in the way of Eucalyptus. Of course the lather is impeccable! Thick, creamy, glide... Pfewwww!! Amazing.

Sunday Night Shave

Pre-Shave Hot Shower & Glycerin Soap
Brush Vie-Long Horse Hair 13066
Soap Mitchell Wool Fat
Razor Gillette Slim
Blade GSB (3)
Post Shave Dickson's Original Witch Hazel

Wasting time on Saturday I tried again with bowl lathering - this time I brought out the trusty Vie Long and went to town loading and very slowly added water. Got an acceptable lather that took much too long compared to what I get with a face lather these days.
Decided to repeat the performance for Sunday's shave but after getting out of the shower, I couldn't be knackered buggering around so went back to face lathering. Wonderful lather and a great shave.

Question to the experienced face latherers out there - what do you do to keep the lather warm in Winter? Is there a scuttle equivalent for face lathering? How do you avoid zombie bukake?
