Cold water shave
Soap: Johnny Good Sir TMBR
Brush: Edwin Jagger badger
Face lather
Razor: GEM 1912 SE

Struggled out of bed this morning, tired and weary and decided discretion the better part of valour and chose the safe path. Looked over my straights and decided, nah ... ... ... the GEM has a run today. Loaded a fresh blade and enjoyed a close shave, even if it was a little "boring" or lacking the challenge and concentration factor of a straight shave. SE razors really do perform very well, certainly a step above DE's IMO, though I do lack experience of using numerous types of DE's.. Because I like to get value for money (read tightwad) now I've loaded a new blade I'll probably use this for the next week.

Face Wash : Blind Barber
Brush : Shavemac 2 band custom
Soap : Martin de Candre Fougere
Razor: iKon Slant DLC
Blade: PSI (2)
After Shave : Alum, Thayers, Trumper's Coral Skin Food

Loving this razor more and more. Find the right angle and it's a DFS in 1 pass. BBS after 3.

Pre-Shave - Proraso White
Razor: - Rockwell 6s #4
Blade: - Polsilver Super Iridium (1)
Brush: - Simpsons Berkeley 46 Best Badger
Soap/Cream: - Martin de Candre Scented Shaving Soap
Post Shave: - Alum Block / T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent / Natio Maximum Razor Relief Healing Lotion
Whisky: - Crown Royal Black Canadian

I need more time to give you my answer on plate #4 and it seem the Proraso White pre-shave has help me with my irritation under the whole neck area about 90% so far and I'm still not so sure about going to plate #5 unless you might have some idea's, for some reason plate #4 is very smooth WTG however the ATG is a different story while the Proraso White pre-shave has help me with my irritation and I just can't pin point the issue. On the other hand I'm thinking about passing the Rockwell 6s to my brother and let him have a spin and see how he feels going through each plate, any way since the shave hasn't cheered me up a bit and I'm glad for the Crown Royal Black Canadian whisky yum yum it taste like a deeper oak background with dark, sweet, maple notes and a light vanilla flavor. Try it is really nice ;)(y)

Pre: GFT lime skin food (I need to get some Myrsol Antesol)
Brush: Rudy Vey Shavemac Custom 2 band silvertip
Soap: Phoenix & Beau Spitfire
Razor: iKon B1 OSS
Blade: GSB
Post: alum, witch hazel, Myrsol Plastic Shave

Was very keen to lather this up since u received it yesterday. Lather Shots here. I think the picture speaks a thousand words. But allow me to further elaborate. It's very easy to get that shiny high gloss lather. Bearing in mind that this is a thirsty soap, so you can work a lot of water into this soap. Scent wise, I think it's the juniper and the leather that is prominent here. The whole time I am lathering this on my face (oh what a wonder the two band Silver tip is on your face. Two band Silver tip is one of my favourites), the image of a green leather military jacket is conjured in my mind. The scent is certainly towards the brighter end of the spectrum. Very pleasant and very soothing. Performance is top notch, very stable and remain moist through out most of my shaves. Definitely a keeper, definitely top shelf product. Very slick soap, left behind sufficient slickness for me to give the razor another few more goes. Naughty naughty.

With lather like that, even the OC side of the OSS felt like a breeze. I do need to work on my lather a lot more. As they say, lather makes or breaks the shave. Very happy shave tonight, alum block feedback confirmed the kill. Finished off with some Myrsol love.

@Dale.Whiley I reckon you would enjoy this scent based on some of your comments here.

Paladin Falstaff
Strop Shoppe Alpine Frost
Darwin Deluxe
Personna 74 (3)
Proraso Sandalwood aftershave

First use of the Paladin brush and I like it a lot. Just the right amount of backbone, cloud like softness at the tips and excellent flow through.

Another breeze of a shave with the Darwin. This has got to be one of the best razors I've ever used

Razor: Weber Polished Head on Bulldog Handle
Blade: Vintage Schick Super Platinum (7)
Brush: Vintage butterscotch Simpson
Soap/Cream: Cella Shaving Soap
Aftershave: Myrsol Antesol

Inspired by @Question's thread I dragged out the Cella. Still a great, if not stellar, performer. What better way to finish off than the Antesol, another classic. Time to go hop in the car and take it for a spin -

(Yes, this is an illusion - a good shave can only change so much ...)

Lovely three pass shave today. Everything was perfect. Had the house to myself, with some nice music that I like. The lather was excellent, this is a top quality soap. The shave was sublime and left me with a BBS result. Enjoy the day gentlemen and now ready for lunch with some gentlemen.

@Osman have you been paying attention to you're Commodore X2...Why am I asking........just look at that bloody BLOOM  is a lot wider than you're standard head razor :whistle:

Razor: - Rockwell 6s #2
Blade: - Polsilver Super Iridium (2)
Brush: - SOC 2-Band Badger
Soap/Cream: - Nivea Sensitive Shaving Cream
Post Shave: - Alum Block / T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent / Natio Maximum Razor Relief Healing Lotion

A quick 2 pass shave with plate #2 again since I tried a #1 and it didn't shave very well ATG, I was 100% right from the very start first time using the Rockwell 6s and I've decided to skip plate #1 and go straight to #2 and finally got used the heavy razor shaving WTG & ATG with out any issue or balance of this razor best of all no nicks, cuts and irritation (y);)

Also I will be using plate #3 in my next shave (y)

So Speedy... what did you think of the Nivea Sensitive Shaving Cream? I just started using it this week... and absolutely love it! On special at $3.50 this week at my local Coles and I went back and snapped up all seven remaining tubes! I have finally settled on a lather that suits me! Works beaut with my new Lord Premium LP1822L razor too! I abandoned my new Merkur 42C 1906 clone after using the Lord just once! $18 delivered (with two free packets of Sharks) for the Lord from Canada/America and it's a doosey! This latest model has a much longer and improved head to handle screw. I replaced the overlong and a little too thin for me aluminium Lord handle with another one from a Chinese 1904 knockoff and the Frankenstein result works brilliantly! Oh, and my now-standard Astra green Platinums love the Lord and the Nivea Shaving Cream!

Went with the Shaver Heaven - Choc Delight today.

It's just like putting choc mousse all over your face....which is awesome until you realize can't eat it, which is sad until you remember you can shave with it. Nice one @Anthony.

That is all.
I recently totally gave up eating all chocolate for life... so unfortunately Choc Delight is out for this little black duck! There's already enough chocolate temptation around here!

@littleaussiebleeder Nivea Sensitive Shaving Cream is okay not bad for $3.50 at coles, trouble is this shaving cream need a lot more water because it dry out quickly and loose slickness for each shave and than add more water again again so the soap doesn't get too thin and be able to get some slickness every time.

The lather is pretty good during the shave if you can keep up with the slickness so it doesn't dry out too quickly, I only used Nivea Sensitive Shaving Cream when I'm in a bad mood when I don't feel like using hard or soft soap while creating the lather either on my face or used a bowl. Nivea does create the lather pretty quick IF it doesn't dry out too soon during each pass like I said it not bad for $3.50.

That's probably why it appeals so much to me... I'm ALWAYS in a bad bloody mood!
