Pre: Musgo Real Lime Oil Soap, Proraso green cream
Brush: Savile Row 3824 Silvertip
Soap: I Coloniali Mango Nut Oil
Razor: Feather AS-D2
Blade: Feather (4)
Post: Alum block, Proraso green cream, B.P. grade Witch Hazel
A/S: SV 70th Ann.

Took a while to build lather with a brand new soap, but when it came together, worth the wait. The I Coloniali lather was top notch - heaps of cushioning and slickness. It seemed to love the Savile Row brush more than my other soaps - great combo. The result was a 3 pass shave with very little irritation.
The SV 70th A/S (emulsion) worked beautifully with the soap; very happy indeed with this shave.

Pre: GFT lime skin food
Brush: SOC
Soap: B&M Vetyver Santal
Razor: iKon B1 OSS
Blade: GSB
Post: alum, witch hazel, Eufros Jabonman Vetiver Haiti

Fantastic lather generated with the SOC and B&M soap. Love how the Vetyver works so well with the lemon scent in this soap. I'm a massive Vetiver fan. Lather Shots here.

Had a very smooth good shave, it's so amazing how much water the soap can take. Resulted with an extremely slick and moist lather. Very good irritation free bbs shave achieved.

Finished with the usual finishers, and my favourite balm - Eufros Jabonman Vetiver Haiti. I've said it many times and I still have to say it, I love this ASB!!! Fantastic performance, soothes the skin and leaves my skin moist and supple. Also the amazing scent lasts for hours. Absolutely my favourite balm.

So Speedy... what did you think of the Nivea Sensitive Shaving Cream? I just started using it this week... and absolutely love it! On special at $3.50 this week at my local Coles and I went back and snapped up all seven remaining tubes! I have finally settled on a lather that suits me! Works beaut with my new Lord Premium LP1822L razor too! I abandoned my new Merkur 42C 1906 clone after using the Lord just once! $18 delivered (with two free packets of Sharks) for the Lord from Canada/America and it's a doosey! This latest model has a much longer and improved head to handle screw. I replaced the overlong and a little too thin for me aluminium Lord handle with another one from a Chinese 1904 knockoff and the Frankenstein result works brilliantly! Oh, and my now-standard Astra green Platinums love the Lord and the Nivea Shaving Cream!

@Question here is your answer for the Nivea shave cream

Brilliant isn't it?!
I call it an aftershave milk. It's runny and quite viscous compared to a regular balm. It's neither goopy (like what the SV 70th is being described), nor smooth flowing (like Shaver Heaven balm is like). It's a runny milk that you really only need a very tiny bit.
I love it a lot too! Terrific stuff!!! (And the scent lasts and lasts...)

Without a shadow of a bloody doubt, Mate! That, and having seen how the exalted British chocolate company exploits child slave cacao pickers in the Ivory Coast!
There are other chocolate makers. OK maybe not so cheap, but also hopefully not so sugar loaded too.

Yea it just is brilliant. Milk is more of the right description. The consistency is like thick milk, but so easy to spread and it feels really good. I think I'd definitely get some more. Very keen on the new premium eastern breeze.

Razor: Weber Polished Head on Bulldog Handle
Blade: Vintage Schick Super Platinum (8)
Brush: Vintage butterscotch Simpson AS2
Soap/Cream: LPL Shaving Soap
Aftershave: LPL Aftershave Splash

I don't care what others say - this is a great soap! With the delicate splash it was a great shave.

Off to face the world!

Pre: Blind Barber face wash
Brush: Shavemac Custom 2 Band
Soap: i Coloniali
Razor: iKon Slant DLC on bamboo handle
Blade: PSI (3)
Aftershave: Floid Suave

i Coloniali doesn't get as much love as the US artisans or MdC, but I would put it right up there. Excellent BBS with a nice hint of menthol.

20ish shaves on the London Bridge and I'm thinking about swapping it out.
Not because it's dull or tugging, but because I didn't get a proper count on how many shaves it's done, and I'm scared if I wait much longer I won't remember how to swap it out anyway.

Then again, it's still in the razor now. I can see me shaving with it for another 5 shaves as I'm too lazy to get out of the shower and replace it when I'm already wet.
Yeah, as expected I was lazy. +1 to the London bridge

Sounds like we need another of those special MiL-related events.
...that'll get you outta the shower quicksmart!

Cold water shave
Brush: Edwin Jagger badger
Soap: Johnny Good Sir TMBR
Bowl lather: First time in years - I'm a habitual (read bone lazy) face latherer
Razor: Gold Monkey 6/8

Wasn't happy with this razor after my last hone: tugging and not very close. Lapped my hones this morning and gave it another go through the 1,000, 3,000, 8,000 progression and wow; what a difference. Razor is sharp and very efficient.

Don't know why I bowl lathered today and to be honest, I don't even know if I bowl lathered properly. One thing is certain though, even with my lack of skill in and practice in bowl lathering, it certainly helped improve my shave with this soap. My other soaps face lather well so I just never bothered bowl lathering before so always stated although Johnny Good Sir gave a decent lather, it just wasn't "up there" with some other artisan soaps. Well after the bowl lather today I'll eat my own words, Thick and slick. With a freshly honed blade I've had a great shave today. Changed the oil in the 4WD, mowed the yard, cut my hair, shaved and now the Brisbane Bears, sorry, Lions are playing on the TV. What could be better?

One of my favourites. [emoji106]

Same razor and blade combo: Leresche #77 and Vintage Wilkie
Envy shave brush (24mm) lathering Dr Jon's Anne Bonny followed by the matching aftershave.

The good Doc was slicker than I remembered and the scent just as great. I reckon I ought to try to finish the tin...
