Preshave: Musgo Real Glyce soap and Proraso sandalwood preshave cream
Razor: Merkur HD Slant(Thanks @Lifes a Peach for the loan)
Blade: Polsilver SI
Brush: Kent BLK8
Soap: Kent
Post Shave: Natio balm and Alt Innsbruck cologne
Three pass shave. First use of a few product here. The brush is amazing and I will try to do a review in a few weeks. It requires a heavy load being a large brush but it is a sheer pleasure to use. The Kent soap is second tier quality. Easy to lather and adequate protection with an ok post shave feel. Not the worst but not the best and no scent as such. This is my first use of a slant and it too was a pleasure to use. Feels quite mild to me but the result is a very comfortable and irritation free BBS shave. Two day growth was removed with ease. Such and easy razor to use.

That is a beautiful brush, stunning look to it!

Yea my donkey soap I am struggling with as well, still persisting on it. But it's almost finished now. Doubt I'd restock it though.

Do a practise run in a bowl or hand lather. That way you can gauge how the brush drinks and releases water as well as the amount of water the soap needs to reach your chosen desired lather. If you face lather palm lathering will give a good idea.

Thanks @bald as. I find that synth seems to produce the best lather for me, with the donkey soap. I'll fine tune it further. Thank you for the tips. Yes, hand lathering is a good way to learn the brush and soap's behaviour.

Woah @Osman - that Kent has a serious splay! I bet your soaps are all whimpering in the corner.

Brush: Chubby 2 Manchurian
Razor: 'Best British' Open Comb
Blade: Vintage Schick
Soap: RazoRock Tuscan Oud
A/S: Alt Innsbruk

The Best British is another recent find in the wild. It's far too mild for my tastes. The Tuscan Oud is a wonderfully scented soap although it's far from the best performer in my den.

Pre: Myrsol Antesol
Brush: Wolfwhiskers Ubersoft II
Soap: SdM
Razor: ATT S1
Blade: GSB
Post: alum, witch hazel, TSW after balm, Myrsol Agua Balsamica

Took a bit of courage to pick the SdM. To date, it has never given me a comfortable shave. But tonight was the first time it did. I realised I put too much water on my face between passes. The lather tonight was creamy, thick and vegan slick(I love my tallows). Many thanks to @Lifes a Peach, @Draco Noir, @bald as, @alfredus and @Osman for the tips. Lathering skill level up!

Nothing much to say about this razor besides I love it. Not too fussy about blades, very precise feel to it.

Finished up with my usual suspects and my favourite Myrsol, scent wise. Face feel, I rank plastic shave better.

2 passes and my first cut in absolutely ages. Not on my face :), on my thumb changing hands with the the razor facing up.

I recently made a new soap recipe with Tallow, Kokum butter, Coconut and Castor oil with added Lanolin and Glycerin. I decided to pretty it up with some Lemon Myrtle essential oil. It is said to be extremely good for the skin. Anyway everyone knows the right amount is plenty but a few drops more makes everything better? - right :) Lets just say there is no mistaking the lemony goodness of this latest soap.

There are a few guys who cannot get enough Menthol well I'm officially a Myrtle head. Arko has nothing on this soap.

Soap: as above.
Razor: Solingen magnetic platypus 5/8"
Brush: Omega Boar 20102. Thanks @alfredus it is beautifully breaking in.
2 Passes and a great DFS+

Razor: Fine superlight slant (Thanks @DrBob)
Blade: Voskhod (1)
Lather: Shaver Heaven Eucalyptus & Lavender, men-u cream and a drop of glycerin
Brush: Simpson duke 2 "pure"
After: Alum, Myrsol Formula "C", Natio calming after shave balm

I contacted @DrBob last week to see if I could get on the end of his pass around. Luckily for me, he was willing to part with his second slant so I could see if I liked it.
First time using a slant ever. I've been experimenting with a Gillette open comb recently, and I'd like to think that my technique has improved due to this.
Firstly, the razor is superlight! I stuck a Voskhod in as a starting point. The shave felt quite comfortable. However as I sit here after, I can feel my face burning in a few places.
I had quite a bit of trouble under my nose. The head of this razor is quite large. I'll stick a GSB in it next shave, and see if that goes any better for me.
