Blade(s): Polsilver (`)
Brush: TF Lava Demon 26mm
Soap/Cream: AP Reserve "Winterfell"
Post: Dickinsons
Afters: AP Reserve Winterfell EDP

Starting to enjoy this combination. AP Reserve was thick and slick .. and the scent of the soap was great. Good thing with the EDP is I get to smell this all day!
You getting the hang of that brush yet @Phil ? ;)
Cheers Tony

Razor: Rockwell 6S – 3
Blade: Polsilver Super Iridium (1)
Brush: Semogue 620
Soap: P&B Star Noir
Post: B&M Cologne Russe Splash, Bulldog Balm

Best shave I've had in quite a while. The P&B produced a lovely lather and I'd forgotten how good the little Semogue is. The jury is still out on the Star Noir scent, I need to use it a bit more.

Razor: Aristocrat Jr #49
Soap: G.F trumpers sandlewood

This shave was just flawless, got myself presentable in short order to go and meet some new people.
Very nice indeed, if they where all like this I'd be a happy man.

Very utilitarian shave today. Nothing special, just getting it done before work.

I tried to take a few photos but they really didn't turn out. I'll improve my setup and do better over time.

Oh yeah! (Insert do a little dance emoticon). I'm so glad I bought this soap. Thick, creamy and luscious. If this was the only soap I had to use I could be happy.
Did I mention I love the Bokers? They seem to be quiet achievers. I work through the rotation and when I get to the Bokers they never seem to disappoint.

Razor: Weber Polished head on Ikon handle
Blade: Vintage Polsilver(7)
Brush: Platypus
Soap: Penhaligons Sartorial
Post: APR Alfredus Choice balm and AS
Lovely three pass shave. The Penhaligons Sartorial is a beauty of a scent and the soap is about on par with most English soaps. Its quite serviceable and I enjoyed it but thats about it. Nice bowl.

That scuttle makes me feel things for pottery I didn't know I could feel. Where did you get that sir?

Good morning and G'day @Osman what's the shaving soap quality like? is it worth it to have in the Den?.....while I'm in UK depending how much it is??........looks like about £36....that's nearly $60 AUD  for 100g comes in a wooden bowl.

Edit:- I might drop by and have a look at the Penhaligon's Mayfair 20A Brook Street, London.. which is not too far where I'm staying in London.

G'day! How did you like the Maggard 26 Synth? Mine turned up the other da and I'm slowly getting used to i. Different to my array of badgers of varying qualities!

Razor: Muhle R41 head with Stray Whisker handle
Blade: Polsilver (3)
Soap: Uncle Jon's Fougere
Brush: TF Amber and Ash Synthetic
Post: Alum + Pitralon Classic AS + Pino Sylvestre EdT

Thoughts...
- Just a great, slow, refreshing shave on a cold grey day off work. Uncle Jon's Fougere is my favourite green fougere soap. Great performance across cushion, glide and slickness. Takes a little longer than some soft soaps to lather but it's all worth it. Scent is beautiful. My first use of my own Pitralon was just as I'd hoped for. Good toned face feel, lovely green scent. It's like a refined Pino with less abrasive pepper.
- Rating: BBS with two tiny weepers that sorted themselves out.

Out of the brushes i own it is my favourite and daily driver. My 2 badger brushes never get used since i got the maggards brush and my soc boar brush only comes out when i feel like something different. I feel like i get more lather with less soap and can work the lather up a lot faster than with the natural hair brushes. It did take a while to adjust to the synthetic brush but i wouldnt go back now.

Its an average soap at best but it is a nice wooden bowl. Lathers up easily and will provide a reasonable amount of protection and the scents are typically English. Much better soaps available at much better prices. Not a must have soap.

The cold river soap smells amazing! Perfect scent strength, present without overpowering, and just so refined and soothing.

The performance was great but it's definitely an artisan soap that needs a heavier load, for whatever reason.

I enjoyed the shave very much!!
