Pre-Shave: SebaMed, cold water
Razor: Razorock Mamba SS
Blade: Voskhod (1)
Brush: Hucklaration
Lather: Mike's Bay Rum
Post-Shave: Alum, Stirling Bay Laurel Witch Hazel, Australian Emu Oil

Very pleasing first shave with the Mamba - the razor looks very nice (far better than the price tag) and the shave itself was mild yet still efficient. Of course the stellar Mike's lather produced by the wonderful Hucklaration brush helped ;)

I hope you all have a terrific Thursday (y)

I'm waiting on the SV Felce Aromatica AS to come back into stock. How do you like it? I've only given the soap a test lather so far and was very impressed.
I really like it - almost a balm (albeit a watery one) rather than a splash - moisturising without being too greasy, great for summer. Love it!

early morning shave:
shower
mergard with Gillette 7 O'clock SP
yaqi synthetic
TOBS avocado
APR Suitably attired Australian splash and balm
EdP APR Coeur de Vert

This TOBS is a bit misleading as at least for me it does not smell avocado at all (and it looks that the name is because of avocdo oil?, for me it smell like cut grass, but cutted the day before) It is feeling better on my nose lately with the summer approaching but still not of my taste, and and don't feel it as a great performer, TOBS rose, which I bougth here in BST subforum, is growing in my apetite for it, but still I find it too.... chemist? I will try it in a warmer day, as it deserves it, but I reckon I am done with this too with TOBS. They still will gave me lots of nice shaves I am sure).
TOBS avocado is still good though, and it was my second soap/cream tasted, not including la toja. My two first on the DE shaving were proraso red and then TOBS avocado and they will certainly not come back once finished (I will never finish the tube of proraso as it disapear in strange circumstances)
cheers

Home sweet home!
A what a wonderful shave to return to:

Pre: Valobra Glicerlanolina soap
Brush: Tony Forsyth P&C LE 2017 Platypus
Soap: Dr. Dittmar Spezial
Razor: ATT M2
Blade: Vintage English White Gillette Platinum (1)
Post: Myrsol Emulsion
EDP: Christian Dior Eau Sauvage

Wasn't sure how good the Dr. Dittmar would be, as I am pretty much a Tallow man, but this soap is truly excellent.
It lathers very easily, has a gentle soapy scent, and the performance and post shave are right up there with the very best.
Little wonder that Salvador Dali shaved with it. For me, what puts it right up there with the best, apart from my previous comments, is that it have excellent residual slickness for touchups, which I find is usually lacking in non-tallow soaps.
Three passes for a DFS+. The Eau Sauvage was a great way to finish things off.

Razor: Masonic 1914
Blade: Gem ss
Soap: the warden
Brush: commodore

Great shave, I love the 1914 and the lingering scent of the warden.
Happy Friday you lot :)
I’ve got a wedding this Saturday in which I am responsible for photography... you know cause of my passion for it and extensive training, no pressure.
