Pre shave: Cold water splash, KOS shave oil
Brush: RR monster
Cream: Col. Conk high desert breeze
Razor: WS classic
Blade: WS- German (3)
Post shave: Alum, Nivea 2phase lotion, Primal earth moisturiser

Again the lather was off. I read somewhere that shave oil can cause problems so I won't use the KOS oil next shave and see what happens.

Great razor/blade combo there, @58RW (y).

Razor: Vintage Gillette 'Fatboy' Adjustable (5)
Blade: Personna 'Lab Blue' blade (6)
Brush: Vintage butterscotch Simpson
Soap/Cream: Barrister & Man (B&M) Cologne Russe shaving soap
Aftershave: Barrister & Man (B&M) Cologne Russe splash

No shame in simple I'm discovering, nor necessarily bad shaves!

Soap - Dr Jon's Classic (sample)
Brush - Yaqi Mysterious Space Tuxedo
Razor - Rockwell 6S (5)
Blade - Voskhod (2)
Post - Stirling Barbershop splash

Rushed this morning's shave and ended with a tiny cut on my chin (nothing a styptic pencil couldn't fix). Probably due to the Rockwell plate i was using for the second day in a row, but i digress.
The sample of Dr Jon's is now finished and it took 11 shaves to do so (from a Maggards sample size pot). I don't think i'd buy this soap in this scent as it didn't 'wow' me. I do have a tub of the Anne Bonny i'm yet to try. The post shave often felt a bit drying and I always seemed to be in a rush to get the post shave applied before my skin dried up completely. :mask:
This said, if i was given a tub, I'd still use it up :)

Pre: lemon Myrtle pre shave oil
Rockwell R4 w/Polsilver
EJ silvertip fibre L v1
DRHarris Windsor soap
Anherb balm

Awesome lather from the Windsor soap! So rich and creamy.

The EJ whipped it up awesome!
My favorite brush of all time!!

The Windsor and fine l'orange noir are supposed to be based on the same scent but to me, they are completely different and I love both versions of the scent.

Semogue 1305,
Haslinger Ringelblumen,
Bengall,
Witch Hazel,
VCS

Great shave with the Bengall taking down a couple of days growth with ease. The Haslinger was a nice thick lather as usual with plenty of residual slickness for touching up.Flew through the second pass, almost like Kirk Douglas in the Tombstone barber shop.Almost.

Good one @Mark1966 I already knew that @Razor Burn didn't have enough muscles to hold himself like that above the picture, otherwise he would have broken both shoulder blades and elbows at the same time

Pre: Warm water
Razor: Rockwell 6S (R4)
Blade: Perma-Sharp Super (3)
Brush: Razorock BC Silvertip Synthetic
Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Post: Old Spice Aftershave Lotion

The somewhat 'artificial' face feel is a bit of a let down, but these synthetics lather even a soap such as MWF like it's no one's business - really nice!

This shave wasn’t what I expected at all. WTF was I doing? It feels like I only did 1 pass on a patch of my right cheek but I remember doing 3 passes! Was I asleep while shaving? Who knows? Maybe! Oh well. No cuts which was positive. Maybe my face prefers the higher Rockwell plates. Today was the 3, tomorrow will be 4.

At least I smell okay
