Great lather with the Wool Fat, I always like the way the lanolin leaves my face feeling afterwards. Very smooth two passes and blood free.
Enjoy the weekend guys.

@pvsampson if you only used Mitchell's Wool Fat for more than one-month maximum your face will feel soft and smooth as a

Pre: Warm water, Crew oil
Razor: Rockwell 6S (4)
Blade: Astra Green
Bowl: Handmade bowl, Mk1
Brush: RazoRock Silvertip Synthetic
Soap: A&G

Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Rudy Vey Shavemac Silvertip Badger
Soap: MWF
Razor: Vintage Gillette Rocket HD
Blade: Vintage NOS Gillette Platinum Plus (1)
Post: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel / Myrsol Emulsion
Scent: GFT Spanish Leather

I am having fun attacking the "difficult" triple-milled soaps in my den with the 30mm Rudy Vey Shavemac. It takes no prisoners.
The latest to fall victim is the venerable Mitchell's Wool Fat. Following a solid load, the lather built beautifully in the Timeless bowl, and was slick and wonderfully cushioning.
I changed blades from the previous shave, having found the modern Gillette Platinum sharp but a little harsh. Reloaded with a vintage Gillette Platinum Plus. A world of difference. Very sharp, but smooth and comfortable. Despite the mild nature of the Rocket, I was at DFS+ after three passes. Very nice post shave. Finished with the very comforting scent of GFT Spanish Leather - perfect for a winter's evening.

Pre: Warm water
Razor: Rockwell 6S (4)
Blade: Rapira Platinum Lux (1)
Brush: The Stray Whisker Silvertip
Soap: Czech & Speake Oxford and Cambridge
Post: Imperial Leather Aftershave Lotion

I really need to do two-pass shaves more often, foregoing the ATG - the stubble comes back much sooner obviously but it helps a ton with neck irritation.

Have a great weekend all.

Brush: Yaqi 30mm
Razor: Yaqi DOC + RR bamboo handle
Blade: Polsilver (2)
Scuttle/Bowl/Mug: Bloom pottery bowl
Pre: Shower + PAA CaD pre-shave soap
Soap: Dec. Grooming Y/R/P
Post: Witch Hazel & Tea Tree Oil + Australian Creams Tea-tree

Another great DFS - luscious lather, devine scent, top notch performance, smoothness and superb post shave feel :) Have a great remainder to your weekend gents!

Happy Bastille Day to all....
To be quite honest I didn’t know it was today, but regardless in honour of such I used my Martin de Candre Fougere today. I lathered a decent amount with the Yaqi Mysterious Space brush, more than what appears to be needed and had a truly luxurious lather! So much cushion and slickness made for a great shave with the Rockwell 6s (4) and Gillette 7 o’clock Black. I got a few weepers but nothing some alum couldn’t tame. Finished up with some Proraso green to soothe the skin.

Enjoy your weekend all!

Soap: Pb Bay Lime
Brush: Semogue 1800
Razor: Asylum Rx
Blade: Feather Pro Guard
Post: Jojoba Oil
AS: Pb Bay Lime
Back onto the Bay series today. Pulled out the original Bay Lime for a very enjoyable shave. Haven't used the Pro Guard blades for a while (never got past the training wheels thing) but was very happy with the performance this morning. Probably won't bother replacing them when they run out but they give a good shave and they do drop a notch off the Asylum's aggression so I can afford a level of laziness.:)

Pre-Shave: SebaMed, cold water
Razor: Rex Ambassador (2)
Blade: Ladas (2)
Brush: Doug Korn D7V Romera Manchurian
Lather: Mike's Orange, Cedarwood, & Black Pepper
Post-Shave: Alum, Thayers Original Alcohol Free Witch Hazel, South Australian Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Ten shaves in with the Rex and it is definitely a keeper. A very relaxing Sunday shave - the result was very smooth and close and the magnificent Mike's lather certainly added to the experience.

I hope you all have a stellar Sunday (y)
