Nice combo this morning. Love the General's work.

Soap/Cream: Klar Seifen 'Classic' shaving soap
Razor: Vintage NEW head (replated) on TSW Bren handle
Blade: Gillette 7 o'clock 'Black' Super Platinum (1)
Post-shave: Myrsol Agua Balsamica aftershave splash

Gone old school today - for a great shave.

Pre: Warm water, Crew oil
Razor: Timeless , S/S 0.68 Scalloped base plate
Blade: Astra Green
Bowl: Handmade bowl, Mk3
Brush: RazoRock Silvertip Synthetic
Soap: AP Reserve Florian
Post: AP Reserve Florian Splash.
Another superb shave with the Timeless and APR.

Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Paladin Lotus Select Badger
Soap: Declaration Grooming Yuzu/Rose/Patchouli
Razor: Blackland Blackbird
Blade: Vintage NOS Personna P74 Tungsten Steel (1)
Post: CRSW Alcohol-Free American Barbershop Moisturising Aftershave
Scent: Parfums de Marly Galloway Royal Essence

Although their inception dates are almost 50 years apart, the synergy I felt between the Blackland Blackbird razor and the Personna P74 blade was as though they were made for each other. A stellar shave!
Three passes and I am absolutely BBS and grinning.

Ok, I want to start with some at random, but a fellow in Spain that is starting asked about that soap (I reckon he has arabic-muslim background, as he speaks both french and Arab, apart of spanish...)

Pre: nothing
machine: Timeless 0.95 open / UFO goliath + gillette platinum
Brush: Romera Manchurian
soap: WK King of Oud
splash: AP Reserve Velours Noir

Great shave. The soap survive to the reputation it has, as considering that it was its first use, and from a sample, half bowl, half face lathered, it did it great, easy to lather, so smooth shave. The scent is nice, but just nice. When I bought La fougere parfaite splash, I did it because this one was sold out at TSW. Its great because the splash I got actually suits me and my soaps better than the kind of Oud. But is nice and matches well with Velours Noir. The machine and the blade could be partners forever, great match (that influences my great score for today too).

I wonder if any of you knows about the knots used by Romera, source etc.... I wont dare to ask him and send an e-mail asking as I know no answer will be sent back. It has open quite fast and I like it

cheers mates!

Testing out the Czech Gillette Red and White blade courtesy of @gabba32 in my Karve with F plate. Only tried once so far but they seem not quite as smooth as the Russian version I'm used to. I did have 4 days growth so I need more testing. The Czech version has the same box but better double wrapping with a nicely printed label.
Nice one, glad they made it.

The vintage Gillette Stainless red and white made in Russia directly from St Petersburg factory are the original blades, however, the Czech are not the same original blade made from Russia directly from St Petersburg factory.

Someone outside of P&C from another forum said something about the Czech Gillette Stainless is not the the original Gillette Stainless red and white, because there not as smooth as the original blades.
