Gave the new 0.68 open comb a run today. Certainly felt more aggressive than the scalloped plate but still provided a smooth comfortable shave.

The 226 is a lovely blade. Nice weight and balance. May need rehoning now, fell off the perch during the shoot.

Fortunately nothing visually but the edge didn’t feel right when I was cleaning it. So hopefully just needs touch up on the hones.

First time using this cream which Leon from Pasteur’s threw at me (with all the other scents plus some!)
The cream performed surprisingly well with great slickness over 3 passes.
The aftershave lotion on the other hand isn’t what I’m used to, so my face is a bit sticky so maybe I used too much.

Anyway my face is feeling very good so it might be a reasonable product for someone after a cream.
