Paladin Falstaff
Storybook Soapworks + Chatillon Lux
La Foret De Liguest
Soap, Splash, Edt

Pre: Shower and some glycerine soap
Razor: Rockwell 6S (R6)
Blade: Gillette Nacet
Brush: Maggards Synth
Soap: B&M Diamond
Post: Alum block and B&M Cheshire.

Diamond soap was slick, slick, slick.
Realised I was shaving with R6 instead of R5 halfway through my 2nd pass!
I forgot to flip it after my headshave yesterday.
Was super smooth though with little to no irritation.

Rockwell 6S plate 4 w/ Polsilver (2)
Yaqi Tuxedo
B&M Reserve Fern
AP Reserve General Ledger splash

Second go of the number plate. Closest shave I have had yet! No blood. I had left it 3 days though between the last shave. I think my skin can only take that. With number 3 I could shave daily almost.

The Fern + General Ledger awesome as always

Sweet barbershop shave. Honey Ale is a very barbershop scent to me which is not what I was expecting at all... I like it. A solid pairing with Pinaud Clubman. Excellent soap performance with very easy lather as is normal for Shaver Heaven. At $22 these are great value soaps IMHO.

Soap: Pb The Green Mac
Brush: 26mm Epsilon Horse
Razor: Gillette New LC
Blade: Voskhod (1)
Post: Jojoba Oil
BBS with the Voskhod but paid with a very small amount of blood. The Voskhods seem to have a tendency to dig in. I went fine on my face but on the long straight draw down the neck I ended up bleeding on both sides. I think it's going to take a long time for me to get through my Voskhods. They are not my favourite blade. Best pair so far was with my Gillette New OC. The LC comes in a close 2nd.

Rockwell R4 w/Polsilver
RR Bruce synth
SH Drogon Noir
Anherb balm w/hyaluronic acid serum

Went the R4 plate today and it worked out great! Fantastic shave and no irritation. Consecutive shaves is where it becomes a problem so I'll see how it goes over the next few days.

The Bruce synthetic is just great! One of my original synthetics and still probably the best! The combination of backbone and splay is perfect compared to the other dozen or so synthetics I have.

I've started adding a couple of drops of a hyaluronic acid & vitamin C serum to my aftershave balm for some extra skin hydration.

Semogue 1800
MWF
Bengall
Witch Hazel
Viet Cheap'n'Smelly

No pic, phone issues. Bengall was working as it should today, steady and surely so went for three passes instead of the usual two.Still having trouble with the chin area and am at the point where I am considering using a DE for it.Starting to get some irritation and have two spots where if I am not ultra careful the straights grab every time.No blood there for a while but have to be alert and honestly the time I spend on the chin alone is half the entire shave.Top lip isn't too bad,I have been stropping right before I hit those two areas as I do cheeks and neck first to "steady my hand" so to speak.Stropping ensures that the blade isn't dulled from the other areas, but the bloody chin is getting quite annoying.Blade is sharp and "treetops",lather is good, technique and angle are ok it just seems that I have titanium bloody wire growing there and have to go over it again and again.I'll persist with the straights for another 10 odd shaves and if I have no major improvement then DE it is.

First outing with the new Rex. On holidays so have not been shaving much, and had a shocking shave yesterday with the iKon X3 so wasn't expecting a great one. Also didn't have the usual shower prep before this one, so not really a fair go to the Rex today. Will be testing over the next week (though I just received the schick proline blades to the general today, so that may slot in on Sunday).

Brush: PAA Atomic Rocket
Razor: Maggard Slant + MR1 black handle
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (2)
Scuttle/Bowl/Mug: Fine Lather bowl
Pre: PAA Cube
Soap: APR General Ledger
Post: Witch Hazel & Tea Tree Oil & Suavecito Menthol Vanishing Creme

Mixed things up by shaving with the Maggard slant and I was able to achieve a DFS in 2 1/2 passes with little effort, thanks to the smooth blade and creamy lather from this awesome soap. General Ledger really has a delightful scent profile - complex and very 'manly' which I really like :shame: Finished off with some soothing menthol goodness... Another pleasant shave. Have a great Friday and happy shaves!

Brush: P&C Tony Forsyth "Platypus"
Soap/Cream: Soap Commander "Courage"
Razor: FaTip Grande
Blade: Voskhod (1)
Post-shave: Alum, Emu Oil, Pinaud Clubman, TSW After Balm

Will post my thoughts later this afternoon.
But first impressions are that this razor is quite efficient and requires a lot of concentration.
No blood loss, but slight burn after the shave, hence the after balm.
