Got them from www.aliexpress.com - QSHAVE-Shaving-Brush-Travel-Case-Holder-Fit-for-All-Shaving-Brushes. It was supposed to fit all, but it doesn't if your brush handle is too big i.e. RazoRock Monster.
Mmmm I'm hoping 30mm Maseto brush would fit?? can you please measure the diameter of the container in mm, thank you ;)

Progress w/Polsilver
TurnNshave "full moon" synth silvertip
Tiki grape wine soap
Anherb balm

User error today meant my lather was thin and i had to reload for third pass, which i hate doing.

I accidentally added too much water early on and the lather was thin but I pushed through and it didn't work out well for me.

The tiki soap is fantastic though. I really like this soap base!!

That is absolutely a cabinet of full jealousy. Very envious. Lovely gear and setup.

I think you need a sabbatical sign above that lot very soon

@RustyBlade you can bail out of your sabbatical anytime just let the Great White Shark know, and then you can start shopping for more wet shaving gear again.

Razor: Colonial The General SE
Blade: Kai Mild
Brush: Maseto badger 26mm
Lather: APR General Ledger
Post: Floid Mentholado Vigoroso
Fragrance: YSL Y Pour Homme

I got the Colonial from the forum's B&E quite recently. I've been curious for a while now on how it would perform. The General is much lighter than I thought it would be, but it didn't affect the shave that much. Once I figured out the angles, the result was quite good. It will not become one of my regulars, but it's fun to use once in a while. I think already have more than what I imagined I'd have when I started less than a year ago :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

That cabinet is indeed drool worthy. A sight to behold. I have to go on an expedition to several places to find the soap I want any particular day.:)(y) That's disgustingly organised. So organised I bet @Mark1966 can visualise the spreadsheet. Nice product placement by the way.
Have you any other blades to try in the Colonial General? The Kai is nearly the mildest. Maybe you should try some more aggressive blades (depending on what you didn't like about it). In order of decreasing aggression approximately - Feather Pro Super, Feather Pro, Schick Proline, the Feather ProGuard (the ProGuard being milder than the Kai). If you want to try any of those blades I can mail you a sample pack if you like. Surprised you weren't more positive about the General.

The Kai was the first blade I tried with the General. I still have to try the Feather blades that came with it. After using the Timeless the last couple of shaves, the General just felt too light. It still gave a great shave, but I miss the weight of the razor, if that makes sense :)

Great product placement, right (y) Still hoping that the actual retail version will show up in shelves soon!

Brush: PAA Atomic Rocket
Razor: Rockwell 6S (R4)
Blade: Gillette Nacet (2)
Scuttle/Bowl/Mug: Fine Lather bowl
Pre: PAA Cube
Soap: APR Suitably Attired Summer
Post: Witch Hazel & Tea Tree Oil & Rockwell balm

Achieved a BBS in 4 passes using the 6S and man am I happy  Changed back to R4 plate from my previous shave with this razor and immediately I noticed the distinct blade noise from my earlier shaves - man when she sing's I know I'm in for a treat! I whipped up enough lather for a weeks worth of shaves and I'm glad I did as the Nacet felt super smooth with each pass and the scent from the soap (matched perfectly with the preshave), added to the delightful experience :woot: Finished off with some Rockwell balm to complete a very happy shave!

I think I know what you mean. My General is brass and I love the weight. In contrast my Black Hawk is aluminium and very light. Two completely different feels but I love them both. I'm wondering if you'll get used to it and appreciate the dexterity that comes with the lightness.

It is nice to go back to the origins... my first artisan soap, and certainly my preferred unless too hot weather :)

pre: Myrsol emulsion
razor: maggard 3VA + Astra green
brush: Semogue 2000
soap: APR fouguere Bourbon Rose
splash: floid suave
balm: TSW

I love how the bathroom smell while lathering. i do love this scent and won't be far away from me as long as it keeps on offer. That was a goddamn fine shave. As a night shave, I went to Floid, great product with a scent not the taste of everybody, certainly not for my current "hen".

Have great dreams pals!

Razor: iKon B2 OC
Blade: Wilkinson Sword (2)
Brush: TSW 452 24"
Soap/Cream: Wholly Kaw: Monaco Royale (sample) (donkey)
Post: Alum, fancy magic, and Wholly Kaw: Fougère Parfait balm

Decided to give WK another try. But, this time the "Monaco Royale".
Last time, I used "King of Oud" and I couldn't handle the scent: I must have an intolerance to something in it as it immediately gives me a bad headache with a burnt-plastic smell.
I had previously dismissed Monaco Royale as it seems like a barbershop scent which I don't care for. It's ok. Just a bit mild and boring.
But, in this case, it worked a treat. Just a mild/clean scent and thankfully the horrible pong is absent. Yay @Kaeckerut!

This particular combo gave me a wonderfully close, efficient, and moisturising shave.
It was so easy. Low irritation. And I was done in TWO passes... That rarely happens in this house.

The only (very minor) complaint is that the balm left me a bit shiny. But, I felt great!

Bloody great shave!

I'm just sitting here looking (and drooling a little) at that picture......one day I'd like to own a Wolfman Bronze Razor. Is that 0.74 the blade gap? What aggression level would that equate to, or how would it compare to a Muhle R41?

@Pbgoose Yes, the wolfman has a 0.74 blade gap. Personally, I've never tried the Muhle R41 (crazy as that might be lol) but for comparables I would say maybe slightly less aggresive than the Maggards V3A/Italian Barber Mentor Heads. Its a very efficient razor to say the least and I love the head design. Hopefully you can try/obtain one, one day!

Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Castle Forbes pre-shave gel
Brush: Tony Forsyth P&C LE 2017 Platypus
Cream: Musgo Real Spiced Citrus
Razor: Gillette Slim (setting 8 first pass) (setting 4 on passes 2 and 3)
Blade: Vintage NOS Wilkinson Sword French Brown (5)
Post: Myrsol Emulsion / Thayers Superhazel
Scent: Alvarez Gomez Barberia Cologne

Another 5 day growth dispatched by the Slim and the very sharp vintage Wilkie blade.
Didn't get the lather quite as slick as I have before with this excellent cream, but still OK. Three passes for a DFS.
The Musgo Real creams contain lanolin, which for me gives a lovely moisturised post-shave feel.

Razor: Vintage Gillette British NEW head on a Weber classic handle
Blade: Astra Superior Platinum (2)
Brush: Vintage butterscotch distressed Culmak reknotted with TGN FInest
Soap/Cream: Australian Private Reserve (APR) les généraux du grand livre shaving soap
Aftershave: Australian Private Reserve (APR) les généraux du grand livre splash
Fragrance: Australian Private Reserve (APR) les généraux du grand livre EDP

Shaving soap is very persistent isn't it? I was aiming for the bottom of the container today but still it lives!

Awesome shave, still no phone so no pics (get phone today but away for a couple of days - pics Sunday I promise!)

Have a great day guys

It is so deceiving when you near the end of a soap. The ring of death just keeps going and going. Then one day, it's all gone and then you mourn while looking down into an empty container.
Don't wish too hard as your dream may come true.

More importantly how does one function professionally without a mobile phone these days. You run out of burner phones too?
