Prep: Hot shower
Brush: The Stray Whisker Silvertip Badger
Soap: Palmolive Euro Shave Stick
Razor: Rockwell 6S (R6)
Blade: Vintage NOS Gillette Spoiler (15 and done)
Post: Proraso Post Shave Stone, Old Spice
Do you feel comfortable and better after 15 shaves with the spoiler using the R6.

Brush: Yaqi 30mm
Razor: Merkur 37C
Blade: Rockwell (1)
Pre: Shower + Nivea Face Wash
Soap: Shaver Heaven Honey Ale
Post: Thayers Aloe & Lemon Wich Hazel // Redwin Vitamin E Cream With Evening Primrose Oil Cream

A quick prework DFS. The blade matched well with the slant and whilst not the most sharpest it was super smooth. The soap performed well with nice slickness, cushioning and satisfactory post shave feel, with a pleasant sweetness to the scent. Another happy shave!

An attempt at normality after a morning in bed with vertigo, nausea and headache. Not my favourite pastime, I've never had vertigo like that before where nothing in front of your eyes stays still.
Recovered enough for a successful shave.:)(y)

Charcoal Goods, LVL 3, OC+ Astra
Duke 3, Manchurian
Haslinger, Honig

If you have not tried Haslinger soaps, I highly recommend them. Super easy to lather. Create a really rich thick, rich, high structure lather and offer good slickness. The scents on the two that I own, do not exactly blow me away, but this is more than made up for in their performance. In my opinion. I hadn't shaved all week, so I was plenty hairy this morning. The open comb level 3 head took down all of the hair with two passes, for a wonderfully smooth result. The key (for me) is to go slow and to let the weight of the razor do all of the work. I've had no nicks with this razor since I slowed down and let up on the pressure.

Pre-shave: Shower
Bowl: Limited Edition P&C 2019 Auction Grey Bowl by Avalon Pottery
Brush: Maggard Razors - 24mm Synthetic
Soap: B&M Seville
Razor/Blade: 66’ L1 Slim #7 / 65’ K4 Spoiler (3)
Post-shave: Stirling WHAM/ B&M Reserve Cool
Working on technique with B&M Soaps and Synthetic. Lathering nicely in the bowl but feel like slapping myself in the face compared to face lathering with boar or badger.
Recommended 24mm Knot with 56mm Loft. I will have to experiment with cheap yaqi's to find the right synthetic combo, and master B&M bowl lathering.

Pre: Shower
Soap: Crown King - Lo Haiku
Razor: 6s (6)
Blade: Feather (1)
Post: L'Oreal balm
Frag: Diesel - Only the brave.

It's been a hectic week of moving, painting and assorted odd jobs around the new house. I've barely had time to scratch myself let alone shave.

Last night I settled down and had the first shave in 8 days. Picked a Feather to get through the growth and chucked the 6 plate into the Rockwell.

Either a combination of the blade and plate or my lazy technique resulted in a quite irritating shave (no cuts though) so the Rockwell was put back into plate 5.

A good slathering of balm saw me off to bed with hopes for a better shave tomorrow.
