WTG, ATG, touch up with adjusted angles for my beard.

A topnotch shave this afternoon. As usual with APR soaps, it lathered up quickly into a dense lather. Brilliant all round performer, plenty of slickness and excellent post shave feel. I like Florian's fresh floral scent, in my books ideal for the spring.

Colourful, yet wordless. Well done 👍

Sometimes a picture says a thousand words I'm told.

The Barbasol 'Floating Head' is too cool for words anyway ;)

Pre: Pb PSE
Soap: Pb Camphorwood Rocker
Brush: Bernard
Razor: Jowika 8254
AS: Artemisia
After being a bit tentative about the future of Camphorwood Rocker when I first made it, it has now became a favourite......so time to make some more for stock for giveaways for friends and family.
Was in a hurry and just grabbed Artemisia AS......not a good match.

Brush: Yaqi 30mm
Razor: Timeless Bronze SB
Blade: Rockwell (2)
Pre: Warmwater
Soap: APR Coolabah LE
Post: Alum // APR Passione splash // Vaseline Replenishing Mouisteriser

A fantastic BBS with what is quickly becoming my favourite DE. Don't be fooled by the .38mm blade gap as this golden beauty shaves smooth and efficient. The Rockwell blade started off slightly rough but soon smoothed out on par with an Astra Green. Not much to add on the soap as it lathered up delicously with lots of slickness and the post shave feel left me refreshed due to the hints of menthol  Finished off with some Alum and the delightful Passione splash & Vaseline Mouisteriser... Happy shaves!

Pre: Hot Shower
Cream: Body Shop Maca Root & Aloe
Brush: Stray Whisker 28mm Synthetic
Razor: Feather AC DX
Blade: Feather Professional (New)
Post: Maca Root & Aloe Water Gel, Tabac ASL
Still in FNQ with the travel kit. Got back this Afternoon and took it slow and easy with the first use Feather Professional blade loaded. I find that a bit like the Feather DE blade these really come good once the first couple of shaves are out of the way. That said a very satisfactory two pass with pickups, one small nick only and zero irritation.
Shirt ironed and off to enjoy Miller Time!

Razor: EJ 3one6
Blade: English Wilky (7)
Soap: Mine
A/S: Tabac

Great shave. Very happy with this soap, my most recent recipe. Subbed out the tallow for lard and increased the stearic acid to compensate, very similar feel to the old Wickhams Super Smooth. Happy days.

All round a very satisfying single pass shave.
Tanifuji 6/8" honed on Jnat progression.
Scuttle lathered tonight and it was good.
Treated my strop with shaving lather over the last couple of days and it has improved the performance markedly.

Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Tony Forsyth P&C LE 2017 Platypus High Mountain White Badger
Soap: Czech & Speake No 88
Razor: Blackland Blackbird
Blade: NOS Super Iridium BN-84 (5)
Post: Chatillon Lux Yuzu/Rose/Patchouli Toner / Musgo Real Aftershave Balm
Scent: None

I'd lusted after the Czech & Speake soap for some time, and was particularly curious about the aluminium dish. Price was always the issue, but when I spotted one recently on sale, I pulled the trigger. Firstly, the black aluminium dish is very impressive - weighty and beautifully made. I expected the soap performance to be top shelf, given the Valobra base, and was not disappointed. My only issue is that the scent, whilst very nice, was not as strong as I prefer.
In contrast, the scent strength of the Chatillon Lux Yuzu/Rose/Patchouli Toner was amazing - as strong as some of my colognes. Fortunately, it is a wonderful scent - I have the matching DG soap and it is one of my favourites.
Three passes and a couple of clean-up strokes for a BBS result. I continue to be impressed with this Polish blade.

Finally used the cream I received last Christmas which is from a company here in Melbourne, Murphy and Daughters old school shave cream.

The scent I primarily get off the tub is quite nice. Notes of lime with some eucalyptus. Once I started lathering up, it was still like, but also a chemically smell. Not as nice.
Performance was okay, admittedly I’d used a fair scoop of cream but it hydrated well and was quite slick and never dried out.

Plate 4 of the 6S had no trouble knocking down a few days worth of my beard along with a fresh Polsilver blade.

An excellent aftershave ended what turned into a rather serviceable shave.

Decided to use my other @Tony Forsyth brush this week - it is pretty darn good too!
