Thought I'd give the AS-D2 a run, as it's been a while since it has come out of the cabinet. I find this razor pairs well with very sharp blades, and there are few sharper than the Vintage NOS Gillette Swede. Lovely lather from the Stirling soap - the ring of death is now more than apparent in the tin. Three effortless passes for a DFS+ result.
Finished with my first experience with Dior Fahrenheit - my goodness me! Certainly not one for the fainthearted.

Back to work Monday! Raining in Canberra yesterday, I clearly brought it back from Melbourne on Saturday, which was nice to see. A real freshness in the air today!

A super quick SOTD with the Slant. I'm starting to think the blade was a dud as it shaved fairly rough each time, despite the DE used. Thankfully the soap lathered up some creamy lather and the sunburn is starting to heal which is always nice :) Happy shaves!

I can see why you haven’t hardly touched the jar of MdC Fougère for ages. What happen Fred??

How was your Melbourne Cup Day? I won the office sweep for the 5th year in a row! Working in an office by myself for the first 4 helped but even this year when we just split the field it was one of mine that came good.

Off to Sydney for the rest of the week. Hotel travel kit in hand - so one last great shave ...

This was one of those “great to be back home” shaves where everything falls into place quite nicely!

Not that I disliked being in Perth for a good few days, I used to live there for a about 5 years but now we are contemplating making the move back over west...
