Pre: Hot shower
Razor: Gillette Fatboy D4 (5)
Blade: Gillette Rubie
Bowl: Handmade bowl, Mk3
Brush: RazoRock Silvertip Synthetic
Soap: Squadron Red Lead
Post: Old Spice
WTG, ATG, touch ups with adjusted angles for my beard.
The old spice scent takes me back to simpler times.

Pre-shave:- Shower
Brush:- Shavemac - Unique silvertip 26mm
Soap:- LA Shave Company - Vanilla/Eucalyptus/Mint
Razor:- Rockwell 6s (R6) / Kai (1)
Post:- Lucky Tiger Aspen aftershave spalsh / Oakenlab Post Shave balm.

Deciding to stick with 6s for a while to determine which blades work for me. The kai blade for me in this razor took 3 pass plus touchups. Compared to the Personna Comfort Coated from previous it was not as effcient. I was able to shave by top lip and bridge with no issues, so this is a sharp blade.
Brush and Soap were excellent. (Thanks Cris). Didn't want to stop lathering. :)

Pre-shave:- Hot shower
Brush:- Semogue 1305 boar
Soap:- Stirling Ramblin' Man
Razor:- Karve CB OC-D
Blade:- Kai (1)
Post:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel; Pinaud Clubman Musk
First time with a Stirling soap; it lathered nicely and went on thick and creamy, very nice scent also. The Kai in the Karve is
to be treated with respect but it's an efficient combo. Another DFS.

Had a great shave this evening, well last night, courtesy of a loaner japanese hone from @Pbgoose. My Russian blade took a fine edge and removed retiree stubble with little effort. The hone is very smooth to hone with, forms a slurry easily and requires very little pressure to remove metal. The edge quickly takes a typical Japanese "sandblasted" look with no evidence of the previous hone. I love honing good steel.

The only downside, of course the stone is on loan.

Brush: RR boar
Razor: RR Baby Smooth Al
Blade: Gillette Rubie Platimum Plus (4)
Soap: Grooming Dept. DiA
Bowl: Mrs @Nico shave bowl (y)
Pre: Shower
Post: Old Spice splash // APR Escentials Restoration Serum // Stirling Soap Co. Unscented balm
WTG, XTG, ATG, = OK

Its always a pleasure using this razor as it delivers smooth and comfortable shaves so I decided to pair it with the equally smooth Rubie, resulting in mixed results? WTG was extra smooth but XTG gave plenty of feedback and ATG was a tad rough. Guess I've found a razor that doesn't go well with Rubies...? Not all was bad as the soap performed well and matches nicely with Old Spice! Happy shaves... :)

Pre-shave: Hot shower
Brush: Vintage Simpson Shaving Brush
Soap/Cream: Mike's Natural Soaps shaving soap
Razor: Muhle R95 Rocca Birch Bark
Blade: Russian Iridium - super (8)
Post-shave: Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve splash
Fragrance: N/A

Date:- 21 July 2020

Pre-shave:- Cold Water straight from the tap
Bowl/Scuttle:- Captain's Choice
Brush:- WCS Two-Tone Tall (Blue & White) Extra Dense Synth. 26/56mm knot
Soap/Cream:- Barrister & Mann ~ Petrichor
Razor/Blade:- Merkur 34C / Gillette Nacet #1
Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Natural Glycerin (20 drops) & Tea Tree Antiseptic (5) / The Stray Whisker Aftershave Balm (Australian made)

It's too early for me to comment about Barrister & Mann Petrichor at this stage, because, I'm going to compare with Wholly Kaw Tempest side by side. So just bear with me.

It's been almost two years since I haven't touched my very first razor the Merkur 34C, I haven't tried using the Gillette Nacet with the 34C during the shaves. All I can say is, WOW!! :wideyed::jawdrop: super smooth, super comfortable and I couldn't feel the blade at all gliding on my face with a very good dense slick lather.

Soap: Tabac original

Had a crazy day day work. Just wanted to get home for a nice hot shower and a no fuss shave. The Rockwell went into autopilot and got a wonderful shave. The 6S is a s solid performer.

Until very recently, I had no idea people shaved in the evening as a matter of course.

I've done that just once in my life (I think), and that was in a totally ridiculous (and ineffectual) attempt to impress a woman, before I met the character who later became my wife. (SWMBO would really love that description.)

I would rather just skip a day than shave in the evening.

Nothing like an online forum to show how other people live...

I switched to primarily shaving in the evening and find it so much more enjoyable than in the morning.
