Silly me, I was in a rush for work this morning that I forgot to upload the image I have come to the conclusion that the Bronze SB won't deliver truly BBS shaves but with the right blade it gets so damn close. Upset as this is my last Polsilver for it delivers the perfect balance of smoothness/efficiency with this DE.

I commend @Tony Forsyth for the replacement brush as it feels just as good as the previous one and the finish is truly remarkable as he managed to incorporate the beautiful malle burl, chameleon & holographic pigments, yet polish the clear resin so it resembles glass! High praise for the soap/splash and post shave balm... Happy shaves!

That really was a special brush - hope to see photos!

mass for mass Czech & Speake soap (ignoring the cost of the dish) is about the same value as MdC. Clearly this soap performed for you on this shave. How would you rate it against MdC?

Notwithstanding the difficulties of loading from a sample, I really enjoyed this soap today - the whole package was pretty good but the scent was a real Goldilocks in terms of being interesting but not overbearing.

I sort of bought it by mistake (didn't see patchouli in the ingredients list, big mistake for me), but the B&M base is fantastic, and gave me many great shaves. Stirling Bergamot Lavender now fills that spot, and I couldn't be happier.

The Karve brass is vampire sucking your bare blood while your shaving and you couldn't feel it, the Karve brass is also telling you to get the Karve SS, because, you LOVE IT so bloody much.

I've been trying to work through my samples to get some quick wins in creating more drawer space. But this soap will go back in the drawer for comparison among my best soaps towards the end of my process of soap elimination for my collection. It's strong but in a warm pleasant way. It has grown on me and I absolutely love the way it lathers.
