Post/After-shave:- Thayers Witch Hazel / Pinaud Clubman Musk

Gave the Rubie another run in the Karve and changed the soap to see if that affected the shave. Rawr is a really nice slick soap and ended up with
a quality shave. I think that the Rubie just suits the Karve better than other razors I've tried but have no idea why. Might try again with another different soap.

I might be able to cope with whale puke, but the substitution of lemon sugar for pan galactic gargle blaster always seems disappointing. Now if it had been Caol Ila, that would be something else...

When I started DE shaving I avoided tobacco based scents based on my theory that I did not want to smell like an ashtray, how wrong I was, these scents are now among my favorites. Both the soap and splash make an amazing combo for the senses.

Definitely noticed the density of the knot and overall feel of the yaqi v matilda, not even in the same ball park... but in saying that it was good to know i still enjoyed using the yaqi badger tonight, this will certainly help hold any potential BAD at bay (i hope)

What an awesome Father's Day shave. My wife took the kids out for the morning. I hit the gym and then indulged myself with this set up. Needless to say, no diarrhoea this morning. Thanks to all who wished my son a speedy recovery. Luckily it was only a 24hr thingy. Absolute BBS, with zero irritation.​
